As much as I hate to ask this...is there anyone here that gives loans? I'd rather not ask any of the Kedan and this is for something I'm pretty sure is important...

[Victor rubs the back of his neck and looks away from the camera. He feels pretty awkward asking for money like this but getting that book translated is important!]

And before I forget, has anyone been studying or trying to figure out the whole power-loss thing when we leave the turtle? If you have, I'd like to talk with you please.

[Another awkward subject but he lets it pass. Taking a deep breath, Victor smiles and settles back in his chair.]

On a more happy note, if anyone is looking for me or Santo this weekend, we won't be around. He and I are going on a little trip out of the city and we'll be gone for two days so we'll be away from the consoles here. We'll come back if there's an emergency or something but try not to burn the place down while we're away? [He's teasing a bit.]

Santo? [ Wally snickers just a bit. ] Should I be jealous?

Jealous? Of Santo? [Vic laughs a little.] No, Santo isn't going to steal me away from you.

Oh, good. Cause I'd fight him for ya. [ A small nod, half-teasing and half-true. ]

Just need some time to relax?

[Victor smiles, blushing a little at that.] You don't need to worry. He's my best friend and very straight. He definitely won't try to steal me.

That and spending some time with a friend. We haven't just sat down and hung out for awhile. We're going to be gathering some supplies out there too.

[ Wally leans in just a little bit, admiring the smile and the blush. ]

I get what you mean. Haven't had much time to chill with my bro, either.

Is he here on the turtle too?

Yep- Think I mentioned him to you a couple of months back. [ He laughs a little as he remembers. ] Wondered if you might be a Martian like I did?

Oh yeah, him. Nice guy. Why not spend the weekend with him while I'm out with Santo?

Yeah, I'll probably look into it. I'll probably have to drag him away by the ankles from whatever he's decided to get all obsessed with.

... Snap. [He didn't see this coming at all.] This is kind of a big deal. I mean, when we're back from our trip, after I've talked to him, you and me are going to have a long chat. Vic is my bro, and I won't let some asshole mess with him.

[Crossing his arms with a huff.] And you wouldn't be the first speedster I've had to lay out. [Though the first time was just luck.]
