So, most of the..."satellite" is really not the word--it's basically a space station--is about forty feet underwater. There's some scattered stuff deeper, but we water-breathers can take care of rounding up those bits. If any air-breathers, especially you techy types, want to go exploring, I got Mr. Stark to whip up a few sets of breathing gear real quick.

[She holds up some scuba equipment, which seems deceptively light in her hands, given that those tanks can weigh a good 50 pounds when full.]

You don't have to worry about getting scuba-certified or anything. It's not deep enough that you need any of those weird gas mixes or that ascending too fast would kill you. I'll go down with anybody who wants and make sure nothing bad happens.

Probably. I mean, it could have been robots-- [yes, Nita, the guy who doesn't know what a satellite is will totally know about robots] --uhhhhh, automatons, but it was probably people. I didn't see any bodies, but I didn't go that far into the wreckage, either.

And bodies near the surface might not have survived the fall, given how violent it was.

I don't think there was anybody alive on it for a while. It wouldn't have crashed if there'd been someone to do course corrections, and if it had run out of fuel, they'd have seen that coming and evacuated.

Like a ship, or near enough. And, I don't know about your technology, but golems tend to be famous for 'poor ability to respond to new information'.

It depends on the robot. Some are really smart.

Are they? I've only met a few constructs with human intelligence and most of them had been human before.

Uh, well, Ultron is the smartest robot I know about, and his personality is a copy of his creator's brain patterns.

So his mind is a copy of a human's -- or someone's -- but not his body? And his creator still exists?

Oh, Dr. Pym's human. And yeah, mechanical body with a copy of his mind in it.

Anyway, yeah, I don't think there was anyone on the station, robots or humans.

That's a good sign.

Pretty much this entire planet is dead. I'm not surprised the space station was the same.

There's plenty of fish and things.
