[Well, despite looking incredibly worse for wear, at least it's obvious Peter Parker didn't get himself killed during the latest...everything, despite having largely disappeared since the satellite dropped. He's got a few cuts and bruises, and his clothes are looking pretty trashed ~~dropping burning space debris on your house will do that~~, but beyond that, he's looking pretty alright. Well, save for the fact his hands are completely bandaged. Technically the bandages go all the way up to just short of his elbows, but the long sleeve shirt he wears as an undershirt is doing a good job of hiding that fact.]

So...that wasn't the greatest week of my life.

[To put it mildly. House destroyed, most of his possessions gone, didn't find much in the way of good salvage, overworked himself during the rescues, and to top it all off he learned about the "do not touch" rule with the specters the hard way. And briefly got himself possessed in the process.]

I don't suppose anyone's got a couch I could use, do they? My place is sort of...everywhere, right now. So I sort of need a place to stay for a little while. Just until my old suite has more than two walls again, anyway.

[Yeah, he's still not used to asking for help.]

Maybe the consoles are still acting up or something.

...yeah, I'm not so sure that's gonna be a good idea.

I swear it's fine. She's just like a giant Labrador or something, she's really friendly.

Anyway, no pressure or anything. I'm not using the place, so I figured it might as well get some use if you want it.

Sounds like a lot of people's places got trashed. I doubt there are too many couches around... [Spoiler: He hasn't looked yet.

He's also pretty intent on those bandages. Bandaged hands, plus cuts and bruises--pretty easy to put together that it probably has something to do with those spectres that were roaming the city.]

You got those looked at, right?

[Intentional or not, that question manages to get a bit of a laugh out of Pete.]

If you think I could've bandaged both my hands on my own, you've got way too much faith in my coordination skills.

Well, then yeah, I definitely had somebody look at it. I didn't just bandage everything with my teeth.

But as far as I know, the electric ghosts were a one-time thing. Thankfully.

I'm so sorry, are you okay Pete?? I have a few mats upstairs. [Not exactly the best makeshift bed in the world, but it's what she has to offer.]

Did you get any word on reconstruction?

[He's ignoring the part about his well being for now. Not by choice, though. He's just so used to always getting hurt in the Spider-Man persona that some of the habits are sticking around. Like ignoring the fact certain parts of him really hurt right now.]

Not really, but considering how hectic everything's been, I'm not surprised. Or upset, really. There's probably still a lot of people in worse shape than I am.

[And in an ideal scenario, dealing with the wounded and missing was more important as the first response. Whether or not the Emperor cared enough for that to be the case here remained to be seen.]

But if you're sure you don't mind, I'd definitely be willing to take you up on those mats.

Sure thing. I’m still in ME-2B. There’s tea and some stir fry left overs if you’re hungry. [From the sound of how exhausted he was, Korra was sure he needed to get some sleep. But not before eating something.]

[He has to think about this for a moment. On the one hand, there is the chance someone could have immediately checked on him. Then again, it was also likely they were far too busy saving themselves to think about it. And he could always chalk up the burns to fires and debris...]

...was, actually. Heck of a way to wake up, too. Way more effective than my old alarm clock, but that never tried to burn my house down.

Oh my gosh, when you get here I’ll look for any damage I can I can heal. [Suddenly she hits her forehead.] Sorry, I was totally thinking of just the upstairs because I’ve been spending most of my time there.

I do have a couch on the first floor you can use. Probably a bit more comfortable than the mats. Did any of your pillows or blankets survive?

You...won't have to take the bandages off, will you? Because changing them kind of hurts.

[And would probably show that the damage is way, way less than it should be by this point. Stupid healing, making it hard to be covert about stuff!]

I haven't really had time to look around and see what didn't get destroyed, but...I don't think even my optimism's going to cut it, here.

No, not at all. Actually, it's better to let the water soak through them.

[Feeling kind of bad that she didn't manage to save his suite, Korra had to chime in with something.]

I'm sure they put whatever they find aside while they're doing repairs. In the mean time, you can enjoy a comfortable couch and help yourself to as much fish as you want! [So long as you don't accidentally delete her mahjong game history on the console.]

I have some extra space. [Asbel you have like a three story treehouse, you have more than 'some'.]

Unless someone else has got you already, that is...Do you need help with your injuries?

[The gummis are precious and finite but he at least can bandage a dude.]

I think I'll take Korra up on her offer. I've already got a project I need to work on for her anyway.

[Which just got considerably harder, now that his hands were jacked up.]

It's Asbel. And if you're sure...I don't have many of them, but I have gummis that should heal that mostly. [Don't even ask how that works, Asbel's still kind of incredulous they're not a thing here.] I think those burns kind of qualify for warranting it.

I think I could spare a couch if you don't mind a bit of a draft. I haven't gotten that hole in the wall fixed since the debris crashlanded through it. [It's a relatively small hole compared to others, but still a hole.]

Thanks for the offer, but I think Korra's got me covered.

I got it covered with the shelf right now, but it's the side of a small window. Something crashed through it before and I haven't had the resources to fix it.

[ Peter mostly wandered around pulling natives out from under rubble and trying not to get zapped in a ski-mask with a hoodie pulled down low over his face, looking absolutely ridiculous but at least sticking true to his word about leaving the spider-man costume at home. He's got it mostly fixed up by now, and he even managed to snag a few pieces of the satellite that will hopefully supplement the damaged ones in his web-shooters, so he was looking forward to sitting down tonight and making them work again.

He should be able to Spider-Man soon, if more new arrivals filter in on time. He didn't even realize he'd miss it (but nothing makes it easier to miss a streamlined costume than the bizarre looks he got for his makeshift replacement getup.)

It seems weird to offer a place to stay to... himself, but he'd be a total ass if he didn't. ] Uh, I've got... space. And if you need help trying to put stuff back together-- [ his tone says you know exactly how much I'm capable of helping. ]

I've got it covered. Besides, you just got here. Think you deserve at least a little time to yourself before you start taking in house guests.

But I may need to borrow some sewing supplies, if it turns out mine didn't make it. Got a feeling I'm gonna need to make what I've got last for a while.
