Why is no one freaking out about this? From the sounds of it, all of our powers are gone. Just like that. [He snaps. No flame appears. He throws his hands up in frustration.]

Seriously. There should be alarms going off. People should be taking blood samples and looking at ours cells. Someone should be creating some sort of system to track different.. I don't know.. thermal.. geo.. radio... something. Is it a sun spot? Aliens? We have no idea, because we're all sitting around trying.

Something's coming. Great. That might be the cause, but if it's not? We should probably figure this whole no-powers thing out before it gets here.

Archery and genius tinkering has always served me pretty, but it's not for everyone. A basic kind of hand to hand combat or learning out to hand a gun might be a good start.

I can handle a gun. And I hold my own just fine in a bar fight. It's the whole martial arts thing that seems to have escaped me.

Most people with that much muscle can do fine in a bar fight. Just do what the superheroes that don't actually have powers do. Be awesome.

Awesomeness is not something you can achieve my state of mind alone, young Padawan. Can you handle any other weapons outside of a gun? Have any useful hobbies? Any large field of knowledge?

Different kinds of guns and missiles, sure. I was a pilot, too, and can fly and drive all kinds of aircrafts and some land vehicles. I ride motorcycles, rock climb, snowboard, and pretty much anything else that can get the blood pumping. I like going fast and I have great reflexes.
