These random broadcasts of distress onto the network are disorganized. They're also worthless, unless specifically the right person happens to see your post. A single compilation of these complaints, easily referenced and comparable, would be much more useful in detecting patterns. Further, if there are individuals in specific crises -- for instance, a severe lack of food -- arrangements can be made to match them with those able and willing to ease their distress, in an attempt to discourage rioting.

People who have had a chance to observe those with powers and abilities would know better than making such an ignorant statement. They do not like to freely share what they can do more because people have been afraid - and worse - at them because of it before.
