So. The "in between of life, dreaming, and death," is it? Really hope I'm in the life part, death isn't really my thing and I was in the middle of doing something so I hope I'm not dreaming. Do we get a ticket or something here? "Welcome to the In Between, guest number seventy-five! You're part of the Alive Group, have a great stay." [ Clearly joking; funny voice, air quotes, and all. And a tiny bit of an eye roll. She obviously thinks this is ridiculous. ]

I'm Fringe Agent Olivia Dunham so I'm not completely... unfamiliar with this sort of thing. If you don't have Fringe Division here, or don't know you do, we deal with events which are out of the ordinary. I'd say this counts. Of course I don't have a solution for this particular problem, but at least I'm not going to fly into hysterics. [ Actually, the thought of her in hysterics is funny. Olivia gives a small snort of laughter and seems to be about to end her feed when a thought comes up and she visibly straightens and lights up with the question. ]

[ A lame shrug, and he might have reached back to get it, but there's Liv coming for a hug and his own coffee is set aside and forgotten, arms stretching out to pull her close and give a tight squeeze. ]

[ It's not often they go about talking about the mushy feelings, half because its lame, and half because they just don't need to. Lincoln knows the relief Liv has and Liv probably knows how happy he is to see her. So it's just that plain 'Hey you'. ]

[ When that's all he says, it's all he needs to say. She hugs him tightly for a few moments longer than casual, the sort of special hug reserved for the closeness they have. She lets him go but doesn't create much distance between them. There's a little tilt of her head as she looks at him, a sort of natural check to make sure he's all in one piece. ]

You look like you haven't been doing too badly without me to watch your ass.

[ When his arms are free, he leans enough to pick up the cups of coffee, handing her one, and gives a little toasting kind of bump with his own cup to hers, but doesn't move too far either. It's a comfortable kind of space between them, given they've spent time squished together in squad cars on the way to field events or on a couch munching take out and watching kung fu movie marathons. He gives a smug shrug. ]

I'm a big boy. I can navigate alternate dimensions all by myself if I need to.

[ With the toast she takes a sip of her coffee and savors the taste for a moment. How she has missed coffee after returning from the other side. ]

Oh, can you now? [ Mock condescension. She gestures to the door like "c'mon" and opens the door, heading inside. He'll follow and close it behind her, she's sure. ] That makes two of us then.

[ He never got the month or whatever of coffee abundance so excuse you he's just going to enjoy this like any other peasant. ]

Uh yeah, I can. [ And he does just that, follows her in and closes the door behind before he heads towards a couch. Le flop. ] And also, I'm the new superhero liaison so. There's probably a pay grade boost in there somewhere.
