I've seen my fair share of weird things, there's no denying that, but this place? [ She shakes her head slightly in disbelief. ] It's a pretty large pill to swallow. I guess I can't really argue with the fact that we're, though; if we could, I imagine a good portion of you wouldn't still be here. [ "A good portion" because she knows about Stockholm Syndrome. ] So if it's alright, I'd like to ask you all a couple questions.

First: how long have you been stuck here? Second: if you could go home, would you? Why or why not? Third: how long did it take for you to accept that this wasn't some sort of dream? And forth: is there anyone here who has heard of or, even better, is part of Fringe Division, or am I all by my lonesome? [ She offers a friendly, though perhaps a bit uncomfortable and stressed out around the edges, smile before she ends the feed. ]

[ A-yup. Time shenanigans. There's a moment of squinting confusion before it clicks with him. And then a wide-eyed expression with eyebrows raised. Oh. Oh, this is fucking stupid. ]

She's... their Olivia. From the past.

[ 'Their Olivia' just being how he's always referred to her. Or 'Agent Dunham'. He pauses for a second, mouth sort of hanging open like he's going to say something decisive but just... doesn't have it yet, before he shuts it again and just thinks for a moment. ]

Okay, so, when she was here-- there before, Henry, the cabby, said he helped her escape - that she told him he needed to help her get home. So she must have come out of it, but... no idea how. [ So. How do they :| fix her. ]

That's exactly who she is.

[ As for the rest of it, she gives a sort of wistful and proud smile. ]

She figured it out all on her own, I'm sure. Olivia's strong. Really strong. I'm even surprised it worked in the first place. She has an unbreakable will.

[ It's incredible, really, and one of the things that Altlivia admires in Olivia. She knows that she's plenty strong, but she sees a different kind of strength in her other self. Which is why it pains her to see Olivia so shaken like she is right now. ]

[ Slow, deflating sigh. This shit is bananas. ]

That's... fantastic. Awesome.

[ It is the least awesome. What the hell even is this place. Fringe event magnet? Fringe event turtle magnet? Alternate dimensions, alternate selves, superhumans flying around, and now time travel. Ugh he is not even paid well enough for this.

He blinks up and there's a small, endeared smirk. It's odd hearing Liv call someone else strong, given that she'd always seemed like that stalwart kind of rock to Lincoln. It's also a little terrfying that there's something someone else can do to someone of Olivia's strength to completely erase her from herself, essentially. ]

Right. And it was... what, the DOD that broke her down? Turned her into you? [ And the thought that he knows it's not just the DOD. A specific person. That had seemed to just been using her, this Olivia, all of them as tools back then. ] The Secretary.

[ To be fair she can't even begin to guess how they actually managed it. But they did, and the rest is history. ]

I don't know the specifics, but yes. I'm guessing it's the Secretary. It was his plan.

[ That she completely and unquestioningly went along with. ]

I played my part though.

p And this is Lincoln inclining his head a little with a look that's very obviously 'No, Liv. Don't do that to yourself. I know you're doing that and you need to stop because that's dumb.' ]

You did your job. At the time, we thought they were a threat to our world.

That's not your fault.

[ She knows. She does. It's just hard when it's staring her in the face. Olivia doesn't have a monopoly on guilt. ]

I know. I do.

Good.

[ That simple, because he knows her and he trusts her. He doesn't really even need to say 'I'm here if you need me', because he has been for the last six years. It's just redundant by now. ]

I'm going to check in with her. I'll check in after. [ And show up for that brief. ]

[ Nod. ]
