So... this is a place between life, death, and dreaming, huh? Well, I guess I've heard of weirder things happening.

At least I've got some experience with the being trapped away from home thing. Alternate realities can be a huge pain in the ass like that. [ p...ause... ] In any case, is there anyone on this network that knows of a city called Metropolis? I figure if I'm going to be stuck here, I might as well see if there's anyone at least a little familiar around.

Uh... I'm from Philadelphia originally. New York more recently. I'm pretty sure we don't have a city actually called Metropolis in either of the universes I'm from, though. Isn't that kind of like just calling the place 'City'?
