[Bryn hasn't made a network post of her own since her arrival, and so it seems that an introduction is necessary first. Hair pulled away from her face and smile wide, she waves at the screen.]

Hi everyone! I know I've been a little quiet on here lately so there are several of you who probably don't know me. My name is Bryn Zethir, from Askoupur which I'm pretty sure none of you have ever heard of before. That's okay, honest.

[That should be enough.]

So, with the rationing lifted and the possibility that things are going to get at least somewhat back to normal again, it occurred to me that there's something we're kind of missing in this city. There are tons of restaurants and bars in this city but not one of them is owned and run by a foreigner. Now, I've been working really hard for a while now and saving my money, and with some assistance [Thanks, Bruce <3] I now have enough to buy or rent a location, renovate, and stock it for business.

And here's where all of you come in. While it's my sincerest hope that you'll all come in for a meal or to enjoy some live music, this won't be possible without some people to come work and help out. So, if anyone has any skills for the following jobs and wants to talk to me about being hired on a part or full time basis, please let me know! For those of you who already have work but may be interested in picking up a bit of extra juulan, there will also be contract positions available for the renovation process, once I pick a location. Also, as I hope to install a stage, there will be opportunities for performers of all stripes to have a place to entertain.

So, I think that's it unless anyone has any recommended vendors I should look into for food, drinks, or tobacco. Otherwise, please check out the list of job opportunities and let me know if you're interested. I'll let everyone know when we're open for business. Thank you!

When I find a place what we ought to do is have you show me what you can make with the sort of stuff they have on hand here. It's nothing like what they have from my home so I can only assume it'd be the same for you.

[Bryn is not sure what it is about this turtle that it has so many young women who seem to be confident about holding their own, but she likes it.]

Hopefully we won't have a huge need for security but I'm glad to hear it nonetheless. What job were you thinking of for part-time, exactly?

[Oh God, it's that samurai girl agai-- but she's not the one Lex is interested in and there's really no need to skip through the replies. He's quick to flip on his own video response, sitting back in a large chair, in a large room, and thankfully the environment looks tribble-free.] Bryn, hi, I'm Lex Luthor. [His name's important, as is her's. And she's right- he's never heard of her hometown. Homeworld? And he can't say he really cares now, yet, when questioning that will grant him little or nothing or what he's trying to accomplish here.]

I was scrolling through the posts, yours caught my attention. [Obviously.]

I've undertaken a very similar project back home. [A small word that means a lot more now that it possibly ever did- 'now' meaning now that he's in this... apparent multiversal crossroads.] Only except of a bar, it was an old theater I bought and refurbished into a coffee house. It's been successful, brought in its profits. [It made a good friend of his smile and it gave her the challenge she asked for. Lex just keeps the stream of words coming.] A friendly location run by foreigners for foreigners' delight will only have one way to head.

But while your prospect sounds charming, it also seems like it's running on sole optimism. Nothing wrong with that now, since every project needs a start and you've done well already in garnering attention and information on how to bring everything together. [Or so he can spare the hope.] But I'm left wondering if you've done something so big before, Bryn, because this business is going to take off the ground just fine if done right. [There are laws everywhere, and just where did the kedan stand on hiring underage girls to serve alcohol beverages, he wonders. Miss Zethir, this will be an interesting locale, to be sure.] I know how businesses work- pushing them in the right direction and keeping them running is my job. ['The right direction' is sometimes subjective, sure.] I'll gladly offer my assistance to you if you'll have it.

[What Bryn hadn't advertised in her post was that a large part of her experience in bars came from going to them throughout her travels. After all, she'd been to more inns, taverns, bars, and music halls than she could remember. It meant that she knew exactly what sort of environment she wanted to create and how she could accomplish that, but having the ideas and having the experience are two different things entirely. So, while Lex's response does make her hesitate a moment for it shines a spotlight on some of the reality of her circumstances, that is the sort of feedback she had been quietly hoping for. Someone to come forward and say "I've done this before, let me lend my expertise."

Smiling warmly, she responds only moments later.]

You're right, I haven't done anything this big before. I've been to a slew of places similar to the one I want to create, and I've been working and running some shops here, but never with only my hand at the tiller, so to speak. If you've done something like this before, however, and are willing to help, I'd be a fool to say no.

[She leans forward, elbows on the console as she considers him quietly a moment.]

Would it be your intention just to get things off the ground, or were you looking for a more permanent position once we're open?

[Vanessa's been sort of putting her services out there before, but a Foreigner-run bar seems like a better bet if she wants to keep something permanent.]

I'm a singer. I wouldn't mind helping to fill out your entertainment roster there. [A beat.] I can do serving, too. [She needs a permanent job, and while she's more than okay with working for food and tips, having an actual steady flow of income instead of what she has been getting before sounds more than good.]

[It's always a delight for Bryn to meet other musicians, but in this case she's doubly pleased. She might yet have another person to sing or play with, and other entertainment for the place. And she can serve as well. Excellent.]

I would definitely be open to having you on staff to serve. People who work would get paid an actual wage of course, but if you sing as well, that would be lovely! Do you have someone to play accompaniment for you or do we need to find some people?

I'll certainly keep you in mind for security for events, though I think we may have things in hand for day to day.

As for suppliers, not quiet yet. I'm looking for space and was hoping to hear from some of the other foreigners first to see if they had any connections or recommendations.

[After so many people lost their jobs, after the kedan even turned on some of them, she rather wanted to work with other people who might need the work first. Even though she expected to get her business with the kedan themselves more often than not, if she could make connections through foreigners, it could help restore relations somewhat.]

I've been working at restaurants since I got here, both as a waiter and a cook. I don't think I could run an entire kitchen, but I could help out.

I'm also a performer who doesn't mind being paid in food.

How good are you at cooking though? We have a lot of things potentially covered but so far no one's said they can man a kitchen.

What kind of construction are you talking about? Initial construction for the layout of the building?

Well what I'm hoping to do is find a building that suits as close to what I need as possible. The right space, the right facilities, and the like. Then it would just become a matter of minor renovation.

If I can't find the right space, well, then some of the construction needs might be a bit more demanding. It all depends on what I'm going to be able to find, ultimately.

Do you have experience with this sort of thing? I wouldn't trust myself to nail a bookshelf to a wall, really.
