[After the Kedan left, Holiday meandered around her suite a bit, trying to find some sort of distraction... or maybe answers. Was she dreaming? The last thing she remembered before arriving here was Rex and- and talking to White and- She must have passed out along with everyone else...]
[She decided to activate this network thing to see some of the locals around here. Maybe it's all just a dream, but-]
Hello. I'm Doctor Rebecca Holiday and I'm new in... Keeliai. [Did she even pronounce that right?] I suppose that since I'm here now, I should probably try to... figure out my way around this place a bit or something.
If there are any hospitals or clinics near by, I would like to visit one of them, for work purposes. [And the nanites.] One of the people who helped me to my suite told me that I live in the Earth sector now, if that helps anything... Actually, is there a better way to get around this city rather than using carts?
Um... Thank you for your time.

And I think you've pretty much got the carts or your feet. Unless you get a bike or something.
video
Thanks. I wouldn't mind helping out with this new clinic if you need extra hands and I'll be sure to go over to the Water sector once I'm settled.
... And have a bike. [Where do you get those? How much do they cost? Bah, there's bigger things here.]
Someone, ah, did mention something about a turtle earlier... That's not really true, is it? That this whole place is on the back of a turtle?
video
Er, about the... turtle thing. [He makes a very reluctant-sounding inhale through his teeth, and exhales through pursed lips.] If you go out far enough, you can see the shell and the head, but I've never been there myself.
video
[... Though, uh-] ... You'll have to understand if I'm finding this a little hard to believe.

I haven't heard anything, but Wayne Enterprises might be a safe bet to see about transportation. They're all into high-tech stuff back where I'm from. Name's Wally, by the way.
video;
[Yeah, no, it would have been too easy for her to arrive while the clinic was near her.]
I'll check with them, thank you. Do you know where Wayne Enterprises is based at exactly?

My name is Damian Wayne. Unfortunately, the resources available here - on Tu Vishan, and the world as a whole - make any fuel-type of transportation very expensive, and the streets of the city are too busy for anything much faster than carts and rickshaws. Bikes - the older types - are also available, but they are costly.
Wayne Enterprises, my Father's company, focuses on pharmaceuticals, here - most of the natural resources, such as ores and fuels - are simply insufficient for an industry development.
As you already have been directed to one of the clinics, I will not reiterate that information. However, if that one is not to your taste, I am positive Dr. Natu or Lantern Rayner will be able to direct you to one of the other such establishments.
[Eleven-year-old with way too pretentious language: check.]
video;
Thank you very much, Damian. [She just had an urge to call him Mr. Wayne. The kid is so educated.] I'll be sure to look into owning a bike once I've established a secure enough job in the city.
Thank you for the names, as well. I'll look up both of these people at some point in the near future.
As far as your father's company is concerned, I have a doctorate in nanotechnology and biochemisty as well as medicine if you or your father think my services could be of more use in the pharmaceutical field, despite the lack of natural resources.
video;
It is not a problem. Also, most people work with renting bikes, as few can actually afford owning them.
Though, I suppose, qualified work might result in different circumstances.
[Pause.]
I would think that is Father's decision to make. And yours, whether you would prefer to practice medicine or go into research.
[But those certainly do sound good, for Wayne Enterprises.]

What do you mean by native? Are their medicines from local resources or-?

That's okay, I can find out on my own, but thank you very much. Thank you for the information as well, mister...?

Hi, Doctor Holiday. I'm Commander Shepard. Earth Sector is pretty easy to get around in, in my experience. Everything we need is here. The kedan are a lot nicer now than they have been lately, too.
[She shifts a little, glancing around.] You shouldn't have trouble finding work - doctors are always needed here. But I'd also like to let you know that I'm putting together a medical team to act as a sort of committee to oversee emergency medical services, liaise with kedan officials, and the like, if you'd be interested in something like that as well. It's not a paying job, just a volunteer thing for the moment. We're trying to organize the foreign population so we have more of a voice with the politicians. So we can improve life for everyone here.
video;
[At the pitch, Holiday gives a nearly excited smile.] That's fantastic. I'd love to be a part of this volunteer team if you'd like me.
video;
So yeah, any help in getting organized and getting everyone prepared for emergencies would be really helpful. We've already had our first meeting, but I'll be sure to let you know when we meet again.
