[Today, network, you are getting a view of Molly's apartment. More specifically, the floor of Molly's apartment, where a circle of power has been drawn with chalk. In that circle, there are -- well, there were three tribbles. There's a few more, now. Anyway, the tribbles are happily meandering around the circle; Molly is not too far off, staring hard at the circle and obviously concentrating, murmuring things under he breath.

After a few moments, the tribbles are moving rather slower, almost sleepily -- and, more importantly, they aren't reproducing. There's a hint of frost on the walls of the circle. Molly blinks, then grins and turns to the camera.]

Well. There's one way of solving our tribble problem. I could try and do a really big one if anyone wants, but I'm not sure how long it takes for them to, uh, thaw out.

I've been trying that, too. Only, well...

[She moves to show a giant block of ice on the floor of her apartment and tribbles stuck to it]

Well hey, if it works, why not? Do you know how long it takes them to thaw?

No clue. I keep tossing them onto the ice when they look like they might start squeaking.

That's probably a good decision. These guys can be dangerous.

[ Oh, well, don't that just beat all. Wally's not feeling uncomfortable at all finding out there are even more magic users here on the turtle. ]

So how resistant is it to heat? [ He's just trying to make not-anxious small talk. ]

I can make it ice cold in there, if I want to. I just didn't wanna freeze the poor little guys, they're pretty cute.

I guess if you think a purring pincushion's cute.

[ Snort. ]

Know if there's any way to keep 'em from reproducing?

They are. Kind of.

That's what the cold does, it sorta puts them into hibernation.

[ That's a pretty nice looking circle, Molly. ]

Hello, Miss Carpenter. If you would like assistance in making a larger one, I can help.

[ She wouldn't do it on her own, but she'd be much more amenable to helping Molly make one. ]

[Well yes, Harry taught her well. She grins a little.]

Would you? I have a, um, friend who was asking, but I don't think I'm strong enough for a really big one.

[ Leave it to Harry!

She nods. ]

I can assist with a large one. I would be reluctant to attempt it by myself, but if we work together I am confident it will be manageable.

And I am fine, thank you for asking. I am occupying myself sufficiently by working with Mister Banner. How are you?

[ She's not chatty by any means, but it's fairly close to it for her. ]

Should be, yeah. I'll tell Jim then, he'll be happy. [And she gets to impress Captain Kirk, so that's pretty cool, too.]

I'm good. Better than I was. I can't say I'm working with anyone as impressive as you, but I'm at the magic shop. [a beat.]

And I met Captain Kirk, so that's...seriously awesome.

[ Well? Guess he's getting his magic anyway. ]

I told him I would help if it was necessary, so he should not be surprised to know that I am assisting you.

It is good that you're doing better. And I would not say he is "seriously awesome" but he is nice. [ And then, maybe a tiny bit of girlish happiness creeps into her voice. ] He bought me ice cream.

About time someone stepped up. [A few claps of applause from her, but there's that everpresent purr of tribbles in the background.]

Deal. Not that these guys aren't cute, but we don't need an ecological disaster on our hands again. [A grin.]

Dealing fine, now that the zap's back in my lightning. [Ororo smiles almost smugly at that, curling up to perch her feet on the edge of her chair.] They're cute buggers, but everyone's been pitching a fit about them, so I figure maybe some population control's good.

Probably is, yeah. I like keeping this place in one piece.

[A shrug.] Really glad I've got my own zap back. I met Captain Kirk, that was ...pretty amazingly awesome.
