Video | EA-2TRIBBLES
[The Ororo that sits in her chair as the console comes online is not happy. She is soaking wet and wrapped in a towel that says she's fresh from the shower. The air about her has dropped numerous degrees by the way her breath frosts and the fact that the wet mop of hair half plastered over her face is starting to frost at the tips.]
They were cute. Cuddly. I could like the cuddly Furby angle. But this?
[She thrusts out her hand, in which she has fisted a lot of wet tribble fur.]
No. That's too far. They clogged my shower. This means war.
[With an irritated noise, she throws the sopping wet handful of tribble fur on the console surface, then points at the screen.]
This is officially crisis-level important. What're we doing about it? Because I'm about to make it look like Christmas out there and I could use a hand.
[With a disgusted noise aimed at the fur, she turns off the console. Replies'll come as she gets ready.]
[ooc; there's an action thread inside if you want to give Ororo a hand with her temper tantrum against the tribbles.]

I did not know humans could summon wind! [This is awesome.]

This? Yeah, it's a thing I do. [She crosses her arms and heaves a sigh of frustration.] I'll be doing worse in a bit.
[A beat, then she makes a brief gesture in the direction of where the teleported tribbles had been pre-teleporting.]
That blue thing you did -- what did it do to them?

video;
Is there a long-term removal or containment plan after you freeze them? Because I would be glad to assist.
video;
It was gross. Slimey kind of gross.
[She shrugs up a shoulder at that last bit.]
I'm not the plan girl. If you've got ideas, throw them my way.
video;
Well, I've been feeding them en masse to marine predators at the shell's edge, but I can only transport so much at a time. I could always call more predators.

I thought these headless bunnies were just...headless bunnies.

[Frustration: She has it.]
They're... irritating. [More and more the cooler she makes them. The trilling's not happening as much and she's losing the calming effect.] Turns out they shed just as fast as they breed.

Um. Can you get a plumber's snake? It's like this long, tightly-coiled spring with a hook at the end. Pretty effective for hair clogs.

A clogged shower is cause for a declaration of war now?
Video
It's gross, Professor.
[Petulant whine is juuuust barely there.]
I get fur. I do. I mean, look at my ex -- he's big and blue and furry! But this is way too much.
Video
Do you mean, Hank?
[His tone is more amused than anything, perhaps a hint of scandal because he knows his sister had been interested in the brilliant young scientist, before her eye had turned to Erik.
Though ...]
How old is he in the time you come from?
[Beast, were you robbing cradles??]

Do you need someone to come get some for you?
[ well, assuming she has some type of tribble infestation at her home. ]
video;
[This coming from a former tribble supporter, for reals.]
video;
You need a hand there, honey?
video;
[Exasperated huff of air is exasperated.]
You want some? They're all yours. I'm done with 'em. Done.

Perhaps your shampoo did not agree well with them.

Come on. In two weeks they did more than this -- [And here she holds up a handful of her very, very long hair.] -- did in a year
[Scowl. Pout. It's the bastard lovechild of these two.]

[It's lie having like. A few dozen small dogs in your house or something.]

How about give me a couple of them? Thin the herd a little.

You want 'em? Come grab 'em. Take a dozen. A hundred. Just get rid of them.

[ He's not kidding. Already he's getting up in preparation of leaving. ]
Which place is yours? I'll be there in a few minutes.
