[So Billy has been that bored that he's either listened and watched most of the conversations going on, and had moments of horrible home sickness. Boredom doesn't begin to cover how he's feeling. Now that the action has died down, it's just a constant moment of sitting on the edge of your seat, waiting. Waiting sucked.]

So, someone mentioned comic books. Kinda curious about who else here really read them back where they come from and what kind? What were they like? Heroes, blah, blah, blah.

I'm that bored and yeah, curious.

I'm into finding old issues, we have titles that are based on like hero teams from my world as well. Collect Avengers titles. They're uh...a team back home.

[He laughs a little.]

X-Men and Avengers. Doom went all righteous and drunk on power cause of the life force.

[Nita gives almost a Kanye shrug. She's his liability rather than the other way around.]

...Oh jeez, that sounds like a mess.

[His eyes go wide and he leans in.]

[That was certainly handy though.

Billy's smile is unease.]

Did it all work out okay?

[Because she's recently had it driven home that it doesn't always work out okay.]

[He's quiet and struggles to swallow. It's about a minute before he shakes his head and puts on a smile.]

We lost two mem- friends.

Oh. I'm sorry.

[She's mirroring his solemn expression, because, well, she's a few months off losing someone important, too.]

Yeah, was kinda hard.

[He takes a deep breath and straightens.]

So yeah, Doom's a horrible guy and no one was really surprised.

[Nita actually looks off to one side with an "awk-ward" expression on her face, since Latveria's an ally of Atlantis...even if she can't stand Doom herself.]

I, uh, officially have no opinion on that, okay? But I know how you feel.

You kinda get an opinion when a guy tries to to kill you and only fails cause Magneto charges in and then when he actually kills someone that's like your little sister.

[He shrugs, not entirely old news but something he deals with.]

But yeah, I'm not gonna go on some tirade about how everyone should hate him and have the same opinion. That's just the start of 'bad things to happen' on this job.

It's just, um, Latveria is an ally of Atlantis, and I'm a member of the royal family, so I can't go around badmouthing Dr. Doom or it might make things rough for Namor.

[It's very, very clear she doesn't like Doom at all, though.]

Yeah, I totally get that.

So, wow it's pretty cool that we're from the same place.

[Let's get away from Doom.]

I don't know. Maybe there are only so many universes connected to this one. I wish we had Doc Richards or someone to explain it.

[She's treating this as more of a "ugh traffic is backed up again why" problem than "OH GOD WE ARE IN ANOTHER UNIVERSE" because, well, comics.]

Maybe help from Doctor Strange would help as well, you know if it's more to do with the mystical parts or something.

[He hasn't really dealt with the whole different universes much. Time travel? Yeah. But he still isn't freaking out, he's just glad someone else is pretty much from the same place and will understand some things.]

I was wondering where he was the other day, too.

[Um, hello, they are all second-stringers where are the big guns? Jeez.]

There doesn't seem to be a lot of people here that can do something.

[How inconsiderate to allow them to come to a place like this and not have helpful adult supervision.]

I hope they're working on something back home.

[Assuming anyone noticed they're gone...]

[He would say 'they can't not do something' but part of him knows that they could. So he just frowns and slumps back in the chair.]

You and me both. If they are, would be nice if they hurried it up.

I didn't have much on my plate, but it's the principle.

[She was just going to sit around Project PEGASUS and be depressed, presumably all the way through AvX.]

I...wow okay I had a few things going on back home, but that's not the point. If I could from this end, I'd take us all home.

[He had so much to do back home, make time to talk to his parents, assess what was happening, what he wanted.]

You said something about a spell. Are you a sorcerer?

[Frysquint. You seem young for it.]

Oh yeah, not Supreme though. Well, I don't think so and Doctor Strange doesn't know. Mutant and magically, not as fun as it sounds.

[A sorcerer who sometimes can't control his magic.]

Um, I thought Dr. Strange was the Sorcerer Supreme?

[EVERYTHING IS CONFUSING.]

Yeah, it's kind of confusing? He kinda lost the Supreme title and then spoke to me saying I could be the next one, but he wasn't sure? Then I guess he got it back. I don't know, things were crazy.

I guess there probably aren't strict rules about it.

[Better Billy than Dr. Doom, seriously.]
