[Costigan looks the pinnacle of unamused as he bats dismissively at the figure behind him, who, at first glance, appears humanoid.]

Jesus H.. Fahkin'.. Stop! [He mutters before turning to face the console in his suite.]

Can someone please get this fahkin' thing away from me?

[The figure is mostly cloaked as it moves into the frame, lifting a translucent hand to offer Costigan his empty prescription pill bottle. The undercover immediately snatches it out of the thing's hand and throws it across the room. One paying close attention might notice that his fingers moved through the construct's.]

It followed me back from the fahkin' ruins. I think I freed it from a room oah somethin'? Now it won't leave me alone.

[The figure begins trying to communicate with Costigan using hand signals, but he ignores it. Stupid magic. :|]

Keep it, kill it. I don't cahe. It's drivin' me fahkin' crazy.

Is that a ghost or something? I'm pretty sure we can't kill it if it's a ghost. [Since they're already dead of course.]

I'm not sure if it'll work here but I've been told that the best way to get rid of a ghost is to give it what it wants. Maybe if you find out what that thing is after and help it get it, it'll leave you alone.

[The thing seems to be signaling various forms of magic and making silent references that someone unfamiliar with Sabriel's world would be hard pressed to understand.]
