[Sylar turns on the console. Before the screen is a man who looks nothing like Sylar himself. Instead, he sits in a full suit with horn-rimmed glasses adorning his very Jack Coleman-like appearance. When he addresses the camera, it's confident, professional, and direct.]

My name is Noah Bennet. I'm an Agent in a very specialized division of Homeland Security within the United States Government.

If anyone here knows anything about.. potentially extraordinary individuals, or works with the U.S. government, I'd like to speak to you.

I didn't think that was your intention, Mr Bennet. This isn't the first time I've dealt with alternate universes... it's easy to apply one's own way of thinking to them.

[Sylar passes along the location of a small, park-like respite place just over the border of Fire, in the Earth Sector. He waits there, still taking on the appearance of Noah Bennet, for the girl called Raven to meet him. He idly wonders what her real name is, if her choice to go by 'Raven' is like his own 'Sylar' identity.]

[ Raven arrives shortly after, her hood down and approaches him on the bench, coming to stop about ten feet away. The red gem on her brow catches the sunlight as she nods a greeting. ]

Agent Bennet?

Raven, I presume.

[He gives a nod and offers her a hand to shake in greeting, if she'll accept it. It's as much because Sylar genuinely knows it to be the way Noah operates as it is because he wants that contact, the ability to maybe take on her appearance at a later point in time.]

Yes.

[ She does though she keeps the contact brief, almost perfunctory, her hand nearly dwarfed by his. ]

I can try and answer any questions you had. How many responses did you end up getting, out of curiosity?

A decent number, but very few were offering anything helpful.

[He replies, not sounding surprised or disappointed by that fact.]

[ Raven nodded, though this time it was almost more to herself than to the man opposite her. Even her own arrival hadn't prompted nearly as much clarification as she'd hoped and that was after several people had identified that they knew who she was and her affiliation. ]

What was the biggest hold up for information?

The way I understand it, a man named Khan arrived shortly before I did with the intent to catalog and possibly restrain or kill anyone with abilities. They viewed my request for them to talk as a similar proposition.

[He states it all very matter-of-fact. The truth is, Sylar mostly wanted to know how people here view those with abilities and how common they are. It also helps in knowing who doesn't like them, who has government affiliation, and who has powers of their own.]

[ That actually gives Raven a bit of pause; she'd talked to Khan upon his arrival and initial post but hadn't gleaned anything that extreme from his inquiry. ]

Who relayed that to you, if I may ask?

[He notices the pause, but doesn't really care enough to puzzle it out. Perhaps she's just slow. Instead, he's giving a tilt of his head and beginning to walk, bored of standing around.]

An admittedly annoying teenage boy, one who didn't provide a name.

[ A wry sort of smile, a look that says yeah, that tends to happen. ]

It probably wasn't anything you did. Still, I can try and answer some questions as long as they're not about specific people.

[Noah lifts a hand to run through his hair, but pauses as his fingers first touch his hairline. He straightens his glasses instead and then returns both hands to his pockets.]

I'm curious what the overall attitude toward extraordinary powers is here.

It depends a lot on whether they were present in those individual universes. I've been keeping up with all the posts on the network and there are many who are from worlds where they're unheard of-- and then there are others who are from places where magic is the primary source of development, rather than technology. Obviously people are going to be most comfortable with that which is closest to what they find familiar.

Familiarity can help. I expect some will have experience with a different kind of power or magic entirely, one which might not make them fond of seeing it in others. In my experience, it has more to do with a man's character than his likelihood to have encountered such things before.

[ Raven folds her arms across her chest, though the gesture is far more habitual than intended to be standoffish. ]

I think that's placing a lot of trust in people's character. Not a usual quality for a government agent, though I don't deal with many on a regular basis. The Titans generally don't fall under the umbrella of agencies like that.

[Sylar smiles with Noah's lips.] I didn't say I trusted them to react positively. I find most peoples' character to be weak and close-minded.

[He gives a light shrug.] We weren't most agencies, that's for sure. You mentioned the Titans.

[The question is implied.]

Teams of heroes based around the world. There are six right now, seven if you count parallel dimensions. But there are also heroes who prefer to work outside of teams.

[ All said very matter of factly, as though there's no secret to it at all. In her world, there isn't... they're as known and recognized as any public figure. ]
