My name is Noah Bennet. I'm an Agent in a very specialized division of Homeland Security within the United States Government.

If anyone here knows anything about.. potentially extraordinary individuals, or works with the U.S. government, I'd like to speak to you.

It's less the title and more the approach. In general, people don't like it when someone, especially the government, gets ahold of their information for whatever reason. Wave your attempt to do that right in their faces, and... [He shrugs.]

[He tilts his head in vague consideration, then gives a single and deliberate nod.]

I was informed that many have bad experiences with their own governments. Governments different from ours. I didn't realize the experiences would be so varied.

[Have an arched eyebrow. Well, he supposes Homeland Security doesn't get as much exposure to other governments, but still.] Rule number one when finding yourself in an unknown place and environment; don't assume others' experiences are anything like your own. It's a big world out there.

That it is. Do you have much experience with seeing new environments?

A bit. I work with a team back home that handles- unusual situations.

[grayatonement]

Sounds not entirely unlike my own department.

And what does your department do, Agent?

We help to protect or contain extraordinary individuals and the situations caused by them, to put it simply.

I see. Sounds like you must lead an interesting life back home.
