[The face that appears on the screen tonight is young, no more than twelve or thirteen years old, and incredibly calm as the boy pauses to look into the camera, wondering if it's actually working. He smoothes the fabric of his shirt once before raising his hand to his chest and leaning forward in a small, polite bow.]

Good evening. It looks like I'll be spending a longer time in this world than I thought when I first woke up here, so tonight I would like to introduce myself as well as ask a question, to anybody who may be watching.

My name is Ricardo Russo, and I've been giving a housing in the "Woods" sector of the city according to the per-- kedan who brought me here. If we're neighbors, I hope that we may get along, and if it is not any trouble, that I could be given some advice on the dos and don'ts of living in Tu Vishan. I'm afraid it's my first time living on my own, so I'm not very sure how to go about it now that I've been thrown in this situation so suddenly.

[Here, Ricardo pauses, his definitely unworried expression changing to show a little bit of concern and he touches his chin in a thoughtful manner, then continues.]

Also, if anybody knows of a man who calls himself Christopher and has sharp teeth like a shark's, I would like to know of his whereabouts. He's a friend of mine. I'm sure, if he is here and knows how to view these posts, he'll come find me on his own, but he'd probably like it if he knew I was looking for him, too.

How long have people been here, do you know? Is it a relatively new ordeal or have foreigners to Tu Vishan been occurring for a while?

As for the archway... I'll pay attention to those, although I don't think I'll have much trouble with them. There isn't much I'm afraid of.

[He ends that with a small polite smile because yeah.]

The foreigners have been coming for about a year, actually. I've been here about three months, myself.

[He smiles a little...warily at Ricardo's statement, but he's got no reason to pick on him.] Better to know about them than to be caught by surprise, right?

[He nods.] If I recognize them, I'll try to avoid them as well as warn anyone who doesn't notice them.

Why are we here, though, might I ask? Is there a reason why people have been coming here for the last year?

Oh, right...

[Asbel sighs, and rubs at the back of his neck.] We were brought here because they need help. Tu Vishan is under attack by an...entity. It's here in the city somewhere, and it rules over Death. Or is Death. I'm not quite clear on that part. We...know it's name but it's really not safe to say it or even type it outside the Palace.

The Emperor calls people here with her magic to help, however you can. It's fine if you can't fight, we can use whatever sort of help we can get, if you're willing.

I don't see why not, I suppose. Apparently it won't take any time out of what I'm trying to do back in my own world, so it's not like it would be too much of an inconvenience.

[Although what use he would be without Christopher's strength or Sham's network, he's got no idea. Seriously where the hell is Sham. The Emperor also needs to work on notifying parties beforehand, but that's besides the point.]

Are we expected to be the emperor's army?

It's not really anything as organized as that, but close enough.

[Evandau had called it a draft. In a sense, it was the closest to it...]

You're more likely to see the Alderwood Commander, Evandau, than the Emperor, but they're both busy with administration. For the most part, any organization is between other Foreigners.

Are you saying that they brought us here to face up against a threat we know little about and left us to organize ourselves than actually taking command?

...I'm pretty sure a lot of the Foreigners would try to start a revolution if they tried to command us. Most people don't...really trust the Emperor or Evandau.

Understandably. I can't say I trust them either. Giving the foreigners a reason to revolt would definitely be foolish... Although, I think it would be foolish of the foreigners to rise up against the rulers of this world, as well. But I digress.

What sorts of organizations are there, then?

Commander Shepherd is organizing a defense team, for medical and for combat purposes...I think Kyle--um, Kyle Rainer--is in charge of a clinic. Tony Stark...Actually, one of the Tonys, I think there are two different versions of them here, it's weird.

But he's called people to meet. Apparently some worlds already had teams of people organized.

Commander Shepard. Kyle Rainer. Tony Stark...

... One of? Do they have a common name or something?

...I'm not honestly sure. They have the same name, but I've only met one of them.

You said there are different "versions" here?

I've...heard people talk about multiples of the same person being here before. I'm not sure if it's actually true or not. It doesn't really make much sense to me.

[The first thing Ricardo thinks of is a bunch of Christophers running around and he decides he hopes that isn't true. Or Grahams. Or Ladds. Sigh.]

It makes as much sense as any other explanation.

Eleth high? Is that some sort of narcotic?

...Not really. Eleth is what makes up our world, and is used for artes. But if there's too much of it you can get...well. Things get pretty freaky.

Eleth is the basic component of life, basically. Without it, nothing grows.

I...guess? Human life couldn't have been sustained on Ephinea if there wasn't eleth. A place without eleth is devoid of any kind of plant or animal life, although it'd take a while for everyone to die if it was lost.

... That makes sense. To you, it's like air.
