wintershepherd[ Takes place following his arrival and transport to Keeliai. The video feed opens with Jack perched nervously on the chair, balanced lightly on the balls of his feet and resting his elbows on his knees as he looked at the screen. He gave a slightly nervous wave at the screen but this felt bizarre... like the tables had been turned and he was the one trying to communicate with someone he wasn't sure was actually there. It was really, really disconcerting.]
So, um. Hi.
[ a pause before he continues ]
My name is Jack Frost. If anyone can hear this, I wanted to apologize for the, uh, flash freeze near that fountain earlier today. The people with the little gills -- kedan? -- they were telling me some things that were a bit much to take in all at once and... yeah.
Sorry about that. It'll thaw in a few days, I promise.
[ He looks off to the side, rubbing a hand through his hair and making it even messier, then looks back at the camera. ]
So... are there any kids here?
