Am I dead? Frank said the world would end, but this isn't the end of everything. The end of the world would have to be different that this. And those other people said I wasn't dead, but this place isn't exactly Middlesex.
[A pause.]
I had to obey him because I had to know his master plan. But it's more complicated than that. They would tell you that if I took my meds right then I wouldn't have this problem, but Frank wasn't a hallucination. He was real. He saved my life. And I'm still painting and writing and doing everything they told me to do after that thing with the house, but it didn't help. I mean, it did, but not with Frank.
