That, and he figures it'll change again once resources aren't so scarce. But one thing he's not over is something he'd been noticing after several days in Atam.]

Does anybody else want to get as far away from this place as possible? I don't mean the turtle, either. Something about the mainland feels...wrong. Like, creepy Orwellian kind of wrong.
