[An alarmed face appears on the video. Blonde hair with pink streaks, slightly runny makeup, brightly colored chunky jewelry, thick-rimmed glasses. She has not calmed down a single bit since arriving and isn't afraid to show it. Immediately, she starts rambling.]

Okay. I'm used to weird, but this is like -- the freaking Twilight Zone. I get that the, uh, people who escorted me to what is apparently the place I'm supposed to live now kept trying to get me to calm down but... well! How ever is explaining things in terms of 'death and dreaming' supposed to calm a girl down?! Not that I'm sure they're not very nice aliens, I just prefer my Sci-Fi weirdness come with a pause button.

...And what in the name of the 1990's is going on with this GUI? [Someone is not impressed with the communication device.] It's not even portable. No way I'd have a dream without a decent tablet. At minimum.

[She may not take a breath anytime soon, unless someone cares to interrupt...]

I guess it somehow helps with the ass-kicking, since it seems to be the prevailing wisdom among those types.

So. Is this where I segue into "what are you wearing?" [What, she has priorities and the once-in-a-lifetime chance to mack on Kirk is one of them.]

Ooh la la. [Like she didn't know that! She issues a snappy yet teasing salute. This is the stuff dreams are made of... literally, as it turns out. And hey, if this is death she really could do worse.] Aye aye Sir, batten down the hatches, and all that good stuff.

This is where I'd ask if you wanna start your shore leave in a quiet little coffee shop but I'm not really sure if those exist here.

Consider yourself wanted, mon capitan. [And then some! This whole sitch is still very not okay but the idea of coffee with Captain Kirk is helping considerably. Maybe she can subtly find a way to ask about Spock and the rest of them. Or for an autograph.]
