I am curious. Is anyone familiar with the nature of the... [Mist? No, not quite. But definitely something like it.] Magicks on this beast? Is it the tortoise that is the source, or something different? [Yeah, yeah, turtle, but it reminds her of the monsters back home, so she's calling it a tortoise.]

I am able to sense it as I can the mist, but... they are not so similar that I cannot feel a difference.

[Oh. She's forgetting something, isn't she?]

It is... a strange sensation to be as sensitive to this as I am the mist. If anyone has an answer, I will be grateful - so long as it is more useful than the one the kedan offered. [It doesn't quite occur to her that only someone from Ivalice would understand what she means when she mentions the mist, but oh well.]

They do not seem to be vastly different, no. I have not had any need to use magicks since my arrival, but I do not feel anything blocking my ability to do so. [So no, it doesn't seem that bad. Still odd, though.]

Can I ask what you're able to do? Really, there are a lot of people here with all kinds of magic, you might find people who can do the same thing as you!

Do you only wish to know the type of magicks I am capable of using, or the specific spells? [Because uh. She knows a lot, man.]

Saying their names does not automatically cast them, no, but it is a long list. [But he asked for types of magicks, so he'll get that.]

I am capable of casting green, white, and black magicks, though.

See how much I really know about magic? [He chuckles. Okay. Now he has to ask about those.]

Now, what's the difference between them?

It is simple to understand.

Black magicks inflict elemental damage upon enemies, while white magicks are usually meant for for healing. Green magick can be used to assist oneself as well as weaken foes. [Example will probably be necessary.] If I wished, I would use green magick to protect myself and poison whatever was attacking me.

Actually, that is pretty simple to understand. So, you're pretty good at this? I mean, you can cast spells really fast? Oh, and can you use the green magick to protect other people, as well, or is it just a one person kind of deal?

Myself, others... it depends on the exact spell cast. [Protect, protectga... et cetera.]

That's... pretty handy in a fight. I'm assuming you get into a lot of fights? You have armor and everything.

Enough to keep me occupied, certainly. Though I have yet to have a need to use my magicks here.

I'd like to say that you never will, here, but you probably will. [He shrugs, though with a smile.] So what do you do back home, when you're not fighting with magic?

Rarely anything so interesting, I am afraid. [The fighting does take up a lot of time. ~~Damned level grinding.~~]

Really, nothing? You must do something to fill your days, I don't see you as the lounging around type.

People, usually. [Well, it's not a lie. It just depends on the person. She's selective about the company she keeps.] There is always something to be learned from a new person. It is... interesting.
