video; hi iorveth's back and he still hates u
[ Look who’s back, and while elf-man here hasn’t seen network posts for the last month, he sure as hell did get word from Una and Vanessa that you guys were shooting your mouths off about that thing he told you guys not to shoot your mouths off about and now everything sucks and he hates you. More than he hated you all before. Aka: Iorveth is pissed because it’s a day that ends in Y, didn’t you miss him? ]
I’d like to give a heartfelt congratulations to those brilliant few who invited our enemy to our doorstep. Well done, you incredible imbeciles. [ This complete with Iorveth Patent douche clap.
Talkin ‘bout everyone that said Malicant on the network after he goddamn told you not to, and after everyone argued that him keeping it to himself was a terrible thing to do. For this exact reason, the same thing he’d told everyone. You’re all morons and I don’t trust the vast majority of you to keep your goddamn mouths shut.
He’s blaming you for this, Kirk. ]
I sincerely hope the beast gets to you first, when the attack comes. [ there’s a serious rage here - this is why he fucking hates people. ] I’d do it myself, but I have more pressing matters to lend attention to than flaying you alive and hanging your carcass out in the open market. Oh for the lack of leisure time.
[ Spat, because yeah, that would be fun for him. Moving on.]
Those who know they have my trust should meet to speak with me where we have before. [ that burnt out village they had their last meet up in - lookin’ at you, investigation sneaky team. ] We must discuss what’s been found.
[ Not even bothering making that private (the part that there’s a discussion and there’s also something important he knows), because he’d like you all to know that yes he’s withholding important information again, and there’s going to be zero chance of prying it out of him this time. Not like before. ]
Yaha, Aisha - come to my home.
[ and his private treehaus better still be there :| end feed ]
[[ ooc; feel free to action thread him at the burned out village place they had the last investigation team meeting /o/ ]]

[ he has zero intention of being a meat shield tbh, but there's a good chance be might be stuck as that if they can't figure out what they've found faster than Malicant grows bored ]
The creature's name was never spoken by me on the network. Or aloud anywhere beyond the palace.
[ There wasn't a single person on that post he actually spoken the name to or wrote it to using the network - they were made to meet him in person if they wanted to know it. Also eff u, he's switching to carrier pidgeon 8T ] What others do with what they learn on their own, or from Evandau spewing it like a moron, isn't my responsibility.

All of which matters little now that it’s here. Better to eliminate it soon and not watch others live in fear of it.
[Really though, he just wants to kill it and go home so he can wrangle his crew from Kirk.]

And how exactly do you propose to do that?
[ Spoken so dryly, because that is exactly what they were trying to figure out, and are still trying to figure out, and have a lead on maybe, but not nearly enough information yet. ]

When I first arrived three weeks ago, I offered my services to any plan dedicated to discovering this creatures weakness and ending it's existence. However, most foreigners here seem incapable of putting aside their personal lives and grievances to actually organize themselves. Obviously not only one foreigner can understand this entity, let alone kill it.
Now that it is here, they are now pressured to do so and those of us intent on doing what we were brought to do are not waiting for them to have the realization dawn on them. Now the clock is finally ticking and now we can actually convene to focus our full attention on it.
[He leans back into his chair.]
Considering the less-than-welcoming reception I received, it will have to fall on a more trusted figure to rally the rabble.

[ Because they're loud, reckless, entitled idiots and he's not about to let his one chance at getting home be screwed over by someone who thinks running head first into everything is the way to get things done. There's a snort and an eyeroll for the tactic, but, well, the reasoning make sense. Even if it makes Iorveth's life infinitely harder. ]
Plough the rabble. There's a reason they aren't told of important details until they need to be. [ And given that they actually have something that might be able to save them, he's sure as hell not releasing that until he knows exactly what it is and how it will work. Then they can do their part to help, but he doesn't need every idiot in Keeliai trampling in his way to figure out the last pieces of it. ] Why should I let you in when I haven't told your friend, the Captain?

[That initial post of his wasn’t necessary to make in the least, but it definitely served it’s purposes. He was quite sure the only person who knew why he did what he did was Kirk, unfortunately enough.]
Kirk is reckless and will likely jeopardize any plans you have made thus far once he’s aware of them. My specialty is designing weapons, constructing them, and putting them to use; I was made for combat.
[Holding his chin by the tips of his fingers, Khan’s features hardly changed save for the miniscule movements of his eyes as he studied Iorveth.]
Should this essence have a weakness, I can exploit it to its fullest regard.
