[After trying to process things for days, she's finally willing to poke herself about again. She's been mostly alone in her rooms.]

If this place is all you have, what would you do? If home isn't an option any more, what things would you want to do here?

I guess I should make a list of things I've never done and do them. I just don't know where to start. Or do all the things I like to do. Me and my mom used to go hiking, but I guess I can't really do that here.

Well, what I meant was that it came about to be something that was enjoyed, so I'm glad that you're liking it because then it's serving its purpose. Besides the fact that your "business stuff" is saving out butts because none of the rest of us can do it.

Probably, but I also know that you're a nice girl who is willing to put up with some people trying to conduct fringe science adjacent to a bakery.

[ She has nice bones in her body along with the multitude of crazy and sarcastic and funny bones, and Abigail seems like she could use a little bit of faith and support at the moment. ]

You know, things like mind control, teleportation, astral projection, invisibility, genetic mutation, re-animation... Pick your favorite pseudo-science and then pretend it's real.

Is any of it real?

Oh, yeah. Probably all of it. I've seen some of it happen before my eyes, and the stuff I haven't seen probably just means it's still in development.
