I've been on the turtle for six months now, but I've never seen a time with so few "Hi I'm new" posts to the Net. What does that mean? Is the Emperor done recruiting now?

[It's a simple message, straight and to the point. It's then repeated in French, Spanish, German, Dutch, Armenian, and Greek.]

It seems premature to come to any conclusion. Perhaps we can ask at her next audience?

Maybe the magic is wearing off. Maybe part of the reason the turtle is healthier now is that it's using the power to bring us here to stay that way.

No new people.

That just means the rest of the universes got lucky and didn't make the Turtle Hell Vacation Lottery.

How lucky for them.

Probably too soon to say anything for sure. Could just be a temporary lull. Or maybe she is taking a break. Or maybe she's done for good. Or any number of other things could be happening.

Any number of possibilities. I'm just putting one out there.

Yeah, there was one great big rush of people and then...hardly anything after Sinbrilee. Maybe that's it? Maybe the dive messed with all that juju and the Emperor is in need of a long recharge?

Let's hope so.

Could be something's wrong with the summoning process. People are leaving, but nobody's coming. Maybe a saturation point?

It is kind of odd not to see a large influx of people coming to the turtle. It could mean anything, she doesn't have the power anymore or that it's drained. Maybe she's reached a limited of the people that can be brought here regardless of the people that somehow leave. Basically, I have no idea what it actually is.
