I seem to be the latest victim in a string of thefts. Is someone handling this? The authorities, an overeager vigilante? I don't really care who it is, but they seem to have taken some weapons that could be a danger to most people. I figured you'd like to know.

[He glances down to his hands, visible at the edge of the frame. A small, blue, electrical spark dances along his fingertips on one hand. It disappears as he looks up again.]

If I knew exactly what was taken, I might have. I think there was a gun. Possibly a grenade, some bullets. I don't keep track.

That is because boring people with uncreative methods of violence never realize that they are such. Trust me, I am something of an expert in interesting here.

Of course a gun is boring by itself. That doesn't mean it can't be used in interesting ways. If the person using it is creative, determined.

I get by well enough. I've a preference for the low key personally.

It's so easy for 'low key' to become an excuse for failure, laziness. Inability to do what needs to be done. It's interesting, the words people can find to justify their mediocrity. Do be careful it doesn't happen to you.
