Well, this thing doesn’t look like it’s powered by magic, but it’s definitely not like any machine I’ve ever seen. Where’s Zel when you need him? I guess I’ll just have to trust that it works.

[ Lina is 110% prepared to scoff right at him, to throw a few more choice petty insults his way, but that almost dissipates completely when she sees his face. She lets out a yelp that almost sounds like a squawk, so startled that she actually jumps away from her console. ]
