[Sokka's face is scrunched up and his tongue is just poking out of his mouth as he jabs at a few things and then pulls back with a grin.]

There! It...is set up, right?

I'm not going to just be talking to some...what is this thing called again?

[He squints and gives another jab before shrugging.]

Anyway, I know there's other people around, so hi! Hello! I'm Sokka, just some guy currently hoping that he's doing this ri--[And the video and all sound cut off as Sokka touches something that clearly makes it end recording.]

[Sokka is smiling for her, a genuine smile, and when she hugs him again, he holds onto her. Fingers almost starting to grip against her, though not tight or anything, more to keep the confirmation that she's there. He won't wake up and suddenly she's not there. He sighs and moves one hand to the back of her head.

Also after things that had happened, selfish thoughts were something that was okay. Well, Sokka kind of thought so.]

Same, Yue. I'm gonna stay here, k?

[They said he couldn't really leave and although he didn't want to believe it, something was just...okay.]

Hey uh, have you looked around any?

[Yue nods. She's glad Sokka wants to stay. Even if their suites are not particularly far from one another, the knowledge that he's nearby isn't as good as just being there with him.]

I've only been exploring the Water Sector so far. I haven't actually had a chance to visit many other places yet. [Though she's curious to see what the rest of this place is like. The fact that this sector is similar to her tribe is comforting, but it would be interesting to see just what else is here.]

[Sokka steps back and takes Yue's hands into his, giving them a slight squeeze and then lowers them, still holding.]

Me either. Not even had a look around here that much.

C'mon, we can go check places out, see what there is to do. Maybe see what kind of food they have. That'd be nice.

[Like the meat. It better be tasty.

Sokka lets go of one hand and holds the other, wondering which way things were.]

I'd like that. [Exploring, finding food, or whatever. At any rate, Yue's sure she'll enjoy it.]

I suppose this means we can finally do an activity together. [Grin.]

[O-Oh. His cheeks colour at that and he smiles visibly straightening and gives her hand a squeeze. He clears his throat and nods.]

Worth the wait I think.

And now we don't have to wait to see each other. [Yue gives his hand a gentle squeeze in return and starts to walk. She isn't sure where they're going, but there isn't really a goal destination here, right?]

[Sokka's still a mixed bundle of nerves and total happiness with a mixture of mind blown. He's freely holding Yue's hand and they're walking along together. He likes this. He likes it a lot and he links their fingers together. Okay, Sokka is totally now a hand holder and he is fine with this.

The area around them was great and reminded him of the Northern Tribe, but he'd seen a little of it and was interested in seeing some more and with Yue it would be fun.]

I don't know if this sounds weird or not but before coming here, I'd always talk to you.

[Not necessarily weird, but certainly confusing. She's the moon in the time Sokka is from, isn't she?]

You did?

[Sokka's face may have just gotten a little redder, but he nods and looks to her.]

Didn't matter what kind of night it was, if I could I'd say hello. Sometimes tell you how things are going even though you could see it, it's always better when someone tells you the story.

Oh.

I'm sure I appreciated hearing your stories, even if I couldn't actually tell you. [Yue may not be the moon yet, but she knows she'd always enjoy talking to Sokka... although it would probably be a very one-sided conversation.]

I like to think you did. But here we can actually have conversations. I'll try to keep them a little more uh...interesting.

Oh hey, so will we get something to eat?

[She smiles. Whatever conversation Sokka would have in mind, Yue is fairly certain that he'd find some way to make it interesting.]

Oh... yes, that would be nice. [Right, that was part of the reason why they went walking in the first place.]

[He smiles and leads her on to go and find somewhere that they could eat and try out the food here. It was kind of like back home with how places looked, so maybe it would be similar.

They go a little further in to the market area and he looks for stalls.]

See anything that grabs your eye, I'll get it, k?

All right. [It isn't very long before she picks something out - she's getting pretty hungry, after all.]

It have to say, it's... comforting that this place is similar to the Northern Water Tribe. [Not similar enough for it to really feel like home, but it's better than being stuck in a completely foreign environment.]

Yeah it makes it kind of easier I guess. Bet they have similar kinds of food as well. Might be asking a bit much but hey, you never know, right?

[It's better than it resembling the Southern Tribe which is...kind of barren. At least it's not as jarring if it had been a different sector.]

They do, actually! Not the same, but it's similar. The other day Asami took me out to get food around here - a lot of it seemed like what we had back home.

[Oh, yeah. She's forgetting something, isn't she?]

... Do you know Asami?

Really? Oh man that is such a relief. I mean trying things is great and everything, but sometimes I just really crave some of the home comforts.

[He taps his lip and hums, trying to think.]

Yeah, before coming to meet you we spoke. Future girl, right?

[Yue nods.]

Yes, that's her! I met her shortly after I arrived.

It's... still a bit odd to think about what happens in the future, but at least the Fire Nation is no longer in control.

She seems pretty cool. Kinda hides a lot about the future though.

[That sure is a pout.]

Apparently we're all famous! I'm kinda hoping there's a statue of me somewhere looking amazing. Maybe holding my sword or boomerang. OH! Or both! Like crossed over and looking all serious!

[Yeah, that gets her to laugh a little. Your enthusiasm is infectious, Sokka.]

I'm sure any statue of you would look amazing. [~~Except he doesn't get one sob forever.~~]

[He grins and it's really great to hear her laugh.]

Aw that's sweet, thanks Yue. [Aw god the heartache!]

[The laugh dies down, but she's still smiling.]

... It's good to have you here, Sokka. [She's said it before, but still. She means it just as much. Even if Asami is from her world, it's good to have someone here that she actually knows.]

[He ducks his head some and his cheeks ache but are also taking on some colour as watches his feet. Yue was amazing and he was so happy she was here, physically here.]

Same. I'm really glad that you're here as well, Yue.

[... This is nice. All of it. Even with the unfortunate circumstances, Yue's glad she can spend time with Sokka like this. It's certainly more than what they'd be able to do together back home.]

Maybe this place won't be so bad after all.

Yeah? I think I can get used to it.

[He doesn't bite his lip this time instead he just gives Yue's hand a little squeeze and stops at a stall.]
