Holy shit, this thing really works?! This is so fucking cool! So, I turned this on and everyone else can hear me, right? This thing’s like a mass phone call or… Oh, wait. Is this what it was like being on TV?

[she pulls out a book from her backpack]

Well, I’m reading a book about anti- gravity… It’s impossible to put down. Pfff. Okay, okay, I won’t read my good ol’ pun book to everyone, but if you ever need a joke, let me know.

Also, I’m looking for someone. His name’s Joel, he’s kind of older, brown hair, talks with a pretty thick Texas accent.

And if anyone knows where I can find a bunch of books in English, that’d be awesome. Last place I went to, they were all in this fucking weird script! No good if you wanna actually read something, you know?

Puns are great. Especially smart ones. There aren't many instances where a pun is ill-timed.

Unless you're one of those overly serious types.

There are stores that sell a books in all different languages. I think English is one of the more common ones, actually.

Where's the library at? What kinda stuff do you think it's got there?

I've never been to a real library before.

[Sort of video, anyway - Booker is brand-new in town himself, and this newfangled box is really confusing - so he's not actually aware that he's being recorded, and only about half of his face is visible on the screen because he's still poking around the console after seeing - and hearing - that post.]

English books are difficult to come by here, unfortunately, but there are some which might be found in the local bookstores, and I have a small collection myself; pray, what sorts of things do you like to read about?

I've read Orson Scott Card, Ray Bradbury and H.G. Wells... so science fiction type stuff.

Anyway, most of the books here are in the native language. Javert's got a copy of the penal code in English. Hey - is that anti-grav book in English? Can I read it? It'll only take a sec.

[There is a small pause, before he apologetically tacks on.]

I don't think there's anybody named Joel here.

Well, sorry to disappoint, but the anti-gravity book is only in here. [she holds up a book that says, "No Pun Intended, Volume Too"]

Pff, Penal Code... Sounds a bit dry, anyway. Any fiction? Like spaceships and stuff?

A Kedan tried to sell me what looked like a set of instructions on how to assemble a desk the other day... I don't think that counts. If you want books, your best bet would be to check the Water Sector. And if you can't find them, the locals usually have good stories to tell anyways.

"Joel" will probably be harder to find. I haven't heard of him. He might not be here.

Well... stories are one thing, books are another. But I'll ask around.

Man, everyone has different suggestions for where to go, though... Fire, Water... I just know, the Wood Sector ain't it.

And yeah... I kind of figured Joel might not be here.
