[He's spent a day here already and frankly it's been a day too long. Though in that time, he has managed to find some heavy blankets which he's hung up over the windows to blot out the light. Some is still creeping in but it's enough to keep the place at a comfortable level of darkness. After spending a while watching the network as well and wondering what in the Demonweb Pits the thing is, his eyes are slowly adjusting to the light it gives it. It still hurts though, but it's interesting. Anyway, he's manged to figure out just what he's doing, he refused to let the kedan help him except when it came to them bringing him here. So Dinin is sat with the hood to his piwafwi brought up, managing to shield his eyes from some of the light.]

[He's having a blast, really. His levels of excitement are just so high, can't you feel it all?]

I don't suppose anyone knows of a decent armoury in this Lolth-forsaken place. [He looks disgusted that he even has to ask. But he'd drawn a dagger when he arrived and stabbed one of the kedan in their hand for touching him. Now the blade was dull and ragged from exposure.]

Blades. As much as I prefer my own, they won't last.

They just have to be sharp, right? Not enchanted or anything?

Well I highly doubt that there's anyone here able to put the right enchantments on them, so sharp will have to do.

So while the blade may be good, it won't be as good.

Okay, so couldn't you just get someone to make sure your blades stay usable, if you're that attached to them? We've got blacksmith type people. I think.

They've already been exposed and I can't say that I know how to treat the metal in the right way to stop it from disintegrating or even if it's too late. So in the meantime I'll settle for any other kind of blades. [And keep the ones he arrived with tucked away for safe keeping and hopefully potential...saving?]

But shouldn't you get on the stopping them from disintegrating thing soon? It sounds kinda time sensitive.

I'm a fighter, not a wizard, I can't just place an enchantment on it. It's the metal itself. [And he rolls his eyes because really, so ignorant.]

I can slow it down by keeping them covered.

[Gosh this guy is being difficult. Cue eyeroll.] Okay but why couldn't you have said that, instead? 'Hey my swords are melting, someone fix them!'

[Ew, ask for help more than he already has? Well if it was worded like that, it wouldn't...really be asking. And so he just huffs.]

Because I asked for something else instead, clearly I don't want just anyone to fix them. Especially when I haven't seen what others are able to do. [Duh.]

You did ask for something else, but it sounds like you'd RATHER have your swords fixed.

No, I'd rather have the advantages that come with our magic. My blades can't be fixed unless there's the metal here and someone who knows the way to treat it right as well as place the enchantments on it.

Though I suppose I can stoop low enough for inferior ones.
