The ruler of this place is a female and yet she rules it so completely different than what I'd expect. Everything here is...easy and the rules are...simple.

Does anyone here that has power of any kind rely on any form of deity? And if so, do you still feel a connection to them here? Or just have the powers they gave you?

[So he doesn't really want to know about you personally. He's more trying to work out in advance if any of his sisters or higher born females arrive if they're gonna be bad news.]

[Clark has hardly used the network to make posts as Clark lately, not since he got the radio started... but it wasn't really that he was avoiding it, not really. Investigating about the murders, then the disappearances had simply taken most of his free time, and he hadn't had much to say.

When he turns on the feed he's playing around with what looks like a calligraphy brush between his fingers, tapping the shaft against a very basic notebook.
]

The new arrivals made me think of something. [And judging by the notebook, he's trying to make sense of it by himself. Those who actually know him know how fast his brain actually is... but he's always had the Kryptonian technology to back him down, and now he finds it missing.]

We're assigned living space when we get here, right? And we don't really choose it, we're simply given directions to it when we arrive. And we know there are 5 districts, and different kind of suites on each. Some of them are obvious [Hi, Arthur, of course you live in Water] but others aren't. I live in Water, while my wife was given a suite in the Earth sector.

[She didn't spend a single day there but that's beyond the point. You might actually see her on the background, she likes doing that.] And I thought maybe there could be some kind of pattern, something in the way the Kedan organize us in each district and place. It might not be relevant at all but I'd like to give it a try.

So I guess, what I'm asking is: where do you live? Have you noticed something similar between you and your neighbors? I don't know- age? Gender? Abilities? Hobbies? [A shrug] I don't really know what could be relevant. Also, feel free to answer anonymously if you'd rather- or in my inbox, to keep it private? Whichever way you feel comfortable.

And with that done... something completely different. If I'm right, Thanksgiving should be just around the corner... [The sheepish grin of someone who's completely aware that he's indulging himself] So, what are your favorite Thanksgiving day recipes?

[Later: Supercrypted to JLA MEMBERS - From Jor-El's console]

Yes, we are doing something for thanksgiving, in case you were wondering. My question is: where? And how many of you will have to be dragged there?

[The feed flickers on, though it shows an empty chair and one of kedan welcoming committee pointing at the console. After some barely audible directions, a face looms before the screen coming straight from the side. Blond hair, blue eyes, and a bearded grin appear in front of the console before looking back at the kedan.]

You are sure others can both see and hear me?

[After getting the affirmative, the armor clad figure (red cape and all) plops down on the chair and it begins to roll away due to the momentum of his sitting. The kedan chases after him and some small laughter can be heard as the blond man scoots the chair back into view. His voice is light and amused]

Spinny chair, indeed.

[Loudly, he clears his throat and suddenly his tone is deeper and he leans forward as if to catch the attention of any who might see this.]

Fellow foreigners from distant realms; I am Thor of Asgard, Son of Odin. These kedan have been most helpful of informing me about this Tu Vishan and the perils it faces. I will stand alongside any other warriors who are up to the task presented before us and shall fight as brothers in arms.

[A slightly awkward beat.]

Or brothers and sisters. [He just moves right along after his awkward correction.]

If there are any others from Asgard or from Midgard- er, Earth, whom I know or know me, then speak. A friendly face or voice would be most welcome.

[He turns in his chair to look at the kedan that was instructing him, asking what to do next. After some hurried explanation, Thor's looking in concentration as he finger pecks his way to cutting the feed.]

[He's spent a day here already and frankly it's been a day too long. Though in that time, he has managed to find some heavy blankets which he's hung up over the windows to blot out the light. Some is still creeping in but it's enough to keep the place at a comfortable level of darkness. After spending a while watching the network as well and wondering what in the Demonweb Pits the thing is, his eyes are slowly adjusting to the light it gives it. It still hurts though, but it's interesting. Anyway, he's manged to figure out just what he's doing, he refused to let the kedan help him except when it came to them bringing him here. So Dinin is sat with the hood to his piwafwi brought up, managing to shield his eyes from some of the light.]

Kidnapped to the surface world, wonderful.

[He's having a blast, really. His levels of excitement are just so high, can't you feel it all?]

I don't suppose anyone knows of a decent armoury in this Lolth-forsaken place. [He looks disgusted that he even has to ask. But he'd drawn a dagger when he arrived and stabbed one of the kedan in their hand for touching him. Now the blade was dull and ragged from exposure.]
