People's signatures all over the city have been going quiet and I can't locate them. Someone mentioned people leaving but this... does anyone know what's going on?

[Willow looks visibly concerned, but composed. This is the kind of thing she's used to dealing with, and however much it honestly worries her that Loki and Tony are both missing-- she'd checked the closest things to friends she has here when Thor had told her about Loki's disappearance-- she stays together. Falling apart never got anyone back.]

I haven't been able to locate them either. I tried a spell-- some people come up fine, some don't. I don't know what it is.

[ Raven's eyes are still glowing faint white when she replies, having just finished a spell of her own. ]

It's not an active magic. There's no spell currently in progress that I can sense.

[The faint glowing is actually okay to Willow, since it's white, implying to her understanding that it was white magic, if incredibly powerful.]

And I don't think they're being cloaked somehow, either. [Her brows furrow as she thinks.] I've broken through that before, but this is-- it's like there's nothing. Once in a while I get a... a faint sense that something's near me, but I don't know what it is.

[It has to be related, though. Willow doesn't believe in coincidences. Not ones like this.]

I'd like to try a planar search but it requires three people to anchor it and I can't locate Zatanna. If we can find a third, would you...?

Definitely. I've done spells with other people before. [With Tara, but she's not thinking about that.] If you tell me what to do, I'm on it.

Can you explain what's different about this? Is there anything other than the number of people? Or is it just that a bunch of people are going home all at once?

When I've observed people who've disappeared, it feels like a clean cut. This feels... frayed.

That would be my guess but... a spell strong enough to mask them so completely should leave traces. Most magic has very distinctive markings.

People leave here at more or less the same rate they arrive, though there doesn't seem to be any real pattern to it. And no, it's not willingly or with warning.

I just arriwed here myself, so I hadn't a clue that anyone could leawe ewen if not by choice, in fact was told quite the opposite. Though, I'm guessin' the nature a these recent disappearances are different? Would they happen to be because a some blood sacrifice ritual?

[He might have been trolled a bit when he first arrived, definitely was told that was a thing.]

Not possible to reach at all times, at least.

A friend gave me an item that can find him anywhere. Across galaxies, if need be.

When he didn't show up, I made that item go to him, thinking he might have... gone. But, no, it led me to a specific location. It was... just there for a while, and then it sped to a nearby spot. He was there - transparent, difficult to hear, but there. For... a few minutes. Then he faded again.

And it's not only him, he's met at least two other people who are the way he is.

Something is cloaking him? Or trying to mask him...

The former, yes. It's easier to concentrate on them when we're all within the same barrier.

Then it is possible that those who you no longer feel may not be within Tu Vishan's barrier any longer. [Meaning they all could have returned home in a mass disappearance, or something else has happened.] Do you feel any particularly dark energy at this time?

Not dark energy but.... scattered. Fragmented, in a way I haven't felt since coming here.

As if they are here, but unreachable? Perhaps they have found another...gateway here as we found in the previous city we visited. [That is an unsettling thought.]
