[Presumably someone found Zel and doused him with paint, and then showed him back to his apartment, since he's there now and trying to get settled in. Which is made difficult, as the blindness from the event is lingering. While Zel continues to leave the video off on his console, you can probably hear a few thumps as he focuses on working the electronics without sight]
If I find that old couple again, I'm going to have some words with them...
I know I wasn't the only one wandering around incorporeal for the past couple of days. Has anyone else noticed any... lingering effects?
Also, even assuming I still have a job, I'm going to need a new one. For the time being, at least. And finding one won't be easy.
[An oblique way to ask for a favor, but Zel is realizing he doesn't know most of his fellow foreigners all that well. The transmission lingers for a bit, with some muffled swearing before it ends.]

[ Raven is... withholding judgment about them at the moment. ]
Re: audio;
[Zel has a naturally suspicious mind.]

[ Of all the excuses she might have been expecting, that one wasn't on the list. Half the natives walking around here had gills and tails, after all. ]

What old couple?
[What. He's been busy figuring out how to fix stuff, he hasn't done the museum connection, yet.]
Re: audio;
audio;
[If not, he can understand that. Also.]
Many of those who have returned are still lacking something that was taken away from them as they became invisible. Are you?
Re: audio;
And, yes, I saved my invitation. I don't mind another set of eyes on it. I can't even tell if I can still see the message on it, for obvious reasons.
audio;
How much assistance are you in need of, currently? Do you have food, at least for a while, that you can have access to?
[Damian's not planning on stopping searching until there's an answer. Soon. And, maybe, things like the blindness (and other losses) can be resolved. But that doesn't mean that he can't ask if help is necessary - he'll just not be as quick to offer as he is with Julie.]

Re: voice;
[in other words, it was worth the money he got paid to do it]
Unfortunately, unless I recover or adapt, I can't do it properly.
voice;
Are you still in that state? Well, I suppose not... since you would be unable to communicate with us now. Getting used to have a body once more?

Re: audio;
[heavy sarcasm. Hint: he's not sorry.]
Perhaps next time, you can be the ghosted one.
audio;
[He lets out a derisive snort at that.]
I doubt I'd be so stupid as to get caught up in a thing like that, sorry to disappoint.
Re: audio;
[someone is skeptical of your arrogance, Eridan. That and he suspects that being all 'that could never happen to me' is the karmic equivalent of painting a target on your butt for anything and everything to happen to you]
audio;
[Eridan's arrogance knows no bounds, you see...]
I suppose there ain't any shame in you gettin' saddled with whatewer happened, at least you'we got the wiggle room and excuse of bein' a inferior species and the like.
[Because Eridan is just assuming everyone is human. And while he's not exactly off the mark with Zelgadis, if this were video and not audio, he'd less than likely assume he's human... and would probably give him more respect. What can you do when you're a space racist, after all?]
