✦ 010 ✦ [VIDEO]
[Well, that was even less fun than the whole accidentally-hexing-the-entire-Turtle-for-a-week incident. Although, speaking of...]
[She's not quite as done as she was for her last announcement to her not-so-adoring fans, but there is a notable trace of both exhaustion and dryness to her tone as she leans back in her chair. Arms folded and a smudge of the iridescent paint still visible on one cheek.]
For the record? No, it wasn't me.
[Meaning the disappearances.]
[With that settled, she moves to turn off the console, although perceptive ears might be able to hear her mutter:]
Geez, one little mistake, and suddenly everything's always your fault....

[Believe it or not, so was she.]

[He still hasn't figured out how to solve that problem, unfortunately.]
video
It wasn't just body-swapping, although I'm kind of surprise you don't get why that might be a problem with people who have a thing for personal space.
Powers were messed up. Some people aged. Both up and down. [...okay, she had to smile a little at that one. Best week of her life, because of the memories it brought. One in particular.] Not to mention the whole part where some people around here aren't really fans of magic to begin with. Let alone when they become unwilling volunteers.

[His tone starts off dry but transitions into something a bit more serious quick enough.]
I guess it kind of sucks though, when you put it that way. [And after the fiasco with Wanda, he can definitely understand why people would be wary.] But still, you didn't mean it and you apologized for it. Not much else you can do.
video
[Which made it sometimes difficult to be best friends with a kid magnet. Because while she tolerated children, she wasn't exactly eager to be spending all her extra free time on the local playgrounds.]
See, that's what I keep saying.
Unfortunately, there are some--[coughDamiancough]--who tend to take this sort of thing more than a bit personally. It's probably going to be a long time before they get over it.
video
Have you tried a personal apology, complete with balloons, card, and baked goods? If that's their thing, I mean.
video
Somehow, I don't think that's their Thing.
video
What kind of thing is their thing? Or is that being nosy?
video
Which is why, honestly, I have no idea. Funny thing about people who don't enjoy speaking to you: they tend to not actually tell you anything.
video
[Kidding, kidding,
mostlykidding.]video
video
Are you talking about the blackmail or the apology?
video
Both, of course.
I never apologize if I know it's expected. Ruins the surprise and increases the sense of humility. [/joking]
video
Y'know, that's a good policy. I like it. Maybe I'll pick it up. [He also likes this girl, whoever she is.]
video
video
video
I should probably get on that, shouldn't I?
video
[He is not above stealing.]

video
Whereas, with you, I already have a prime suspect ready to go.
video
video
video
How about 55%? [If only because she came up with the idea in the first place.]
video
[She thinks you're joking.]
