TEXT ★ 004
Obviously, I was not the only one affected by that damn Pagan holiday prank, but I am wondering:
Has anyone reappeared that didn't come out completely unscathed?
If so, please respond here, or come to the clinic. I would like to ask a few questions.
- Dr. McCoy

[ He's mostly just in this to harass people, but something interesting might come out of a wider audience. ]

Then be a good goddamn friend and let her know that I am asking around for those affected like her instead of lecturing me about accessibility! You could even walk her to the clinic since you seem to have time on your hands.

[ And boy, does that make him feel nauseated. ]
Were you affected as well?
text;
[Yes she is asking about you, McCoy. DEAL WITH IT.]

All things considered.

[ Ha, yeah, McCoy's a riot sometimes. ]
I'm looking for volunteers from those affected to undergo a quick scan to try and figure out why some remain affected and why some do not. If you are either of these I'd appreciate it if you came down to the clinic for a bit. It's nothing invasive.
[ You know, besides the fact that he'll learn everything about you. But hey! You don't have to take your shirt off for it! ]

I want a full report yesterday, Bones.
[... Wait. Frysquint. Something isn't right about this whole thing. Jim scrutinizes the text, and then after a moment he shrugs. Can't be that important, right?]

Fine, but we're doing it over the network. I've got my hands full with patients after this whole damn debacle.
[ Oh yeah, no, he's totally not avoiding meeting you face-to-face. Don't be silly! ]

Just the man I wanted to see. Do you have a moment, I'd like to speak with you. Ah-- not related to this particular topic, unfortunately, so I'll leave the 'when' of the matter to your discretion.
[Obviously, Bruce expects McCoy to know who he is. Which shouldn't be hard, given how many of the medical facilities in Keeliai he funds.]
text;
I may, depending on what exactly the topic is.
Speaking face to face will be difficult since I'm rather occupied at the clinic, but if it is something that can be discussed over the network...
[ Please say it is! ]

Dr. McCoy!
[She's too relieved at the moment to be angry. She's had a long week.]

He nods to Mrs. Reyes with a tired smile. When she gets close enough, his eyes glance briefly at the few kedan lingering in the reception area before the doctor opens his mouth and mouths the words I can't talk. He taps on his throat before shrugging. His guess as to why is as good as Mrs. Reyes'. ]

Problem is I don't have one with me. I'm looking into this, but with the standard of technology around here I am not too hopeful.
What you can do for yourself is try not to force the memories. That can be traumatic and harmful. Instead, find those you know to help you piece your memory back together. Words, phrases, smells, sounds, and sights can all help to jog your memories.

[He honestly doesn't care, but it's been such a dramatic thing recently, he can't help but be curious.]

I pray I just have miserable luck, because if they actually do want something from me, they're definitely going the wrong goddamn way about it.

That's fine. I'm assuming you became incorporeal for awhile.
Do you have any lingering effects that you are aware of? Any kind of memory loss or physical impairments?
