[Aisling seems to finally understand how to work the console. Sort of. She's actually sitting on the console table with her knees up to her chest and her hair wrapped around herself like a blanket. But at least she knows where the camera is and where to look.]

It smells like a storm, doesn't it? I wonder how well a turtle will do in a great storm? I've seen the kedan outside, all rushing about. Well...the trees tell me that storms come and go here, as storms do. I am not very concerned.

[She heaves an impressive sigh and props her chin on her hands.] Still, I am more than ready to return to my own forest. The trees here are so difficult to talk to. As closed-off as the kedan are.

[She's silent for long enough that it almost seems she's forgotten the camera is on. Then she looks up again.]

How is it you can talk to trees, if you don't mind my asking? [She's quite familiar with the ability to converse with nature, even if she can't really do so herself.]

That's... Celtic, right? I'm afraid that's something I don't know as much about.

I suppose. That is a word the humans give to the people of Ireland, sometimes.

But not you, so I won't use it. Though I'm not exactly entirely human myself.

How about gods in general?

...The Christians talk about a god a lot. And there are great spirits and powerful beings around...some people even believe that our kings and queens and warriors were gods.

I'm not a Christian, and the gods I'm talking about aren't related to the Christian God. They're actually more along the lines of great spirits and powerful beings.

Like -- for example, there's Zeus. He's lord of the sky, among other things.

[She shakes her head.] I haven't heard of those. Are they good gods?

It probably depends on who you're asking.

They're a really strong and key force in my world, but to be honest? Sometimes their decisions leave me a little unsure.

But overall -- yeah. They keep a balance in the world that would be dangerous to go without.

I suppose it comes with a lot of responsibility. Like taking care of my forest. I must make difficult decisions, sometimes...like knowing when to let a tree or a plant die.

[She nods] Those are difficult decisions. You have to do what's best, and that's not always easy. Do you know what a satyr is?

[One of her best friends is the Lord of the Wild ok she really does understand the importance of that with nature.]

[And probably other things, but nature's the current topic at hand]

I have heard of them. I think they lived somewhere across the water. I have never met one.

One of my best friends is a satyr. He kind of does what you do, in regards to the wild. Nature and the wild are probably the most important things for him.

I didn't know satyrs could do that. It's nice to know there are other peoples out there who care.

All satyrs can, at least where I'm from. They're very in tune with nature.

I am glad that there are people in other worlds like that.

[She smiles, nods.] What's your name, anyway?
