Okay, so the idea of going to another world isn’t exactly new for me, but having it actually happen? Yeah, that’s pretty surprising. Man, Jane would flip if she knew about this! Also, the giant turtle thing? Crazy. But also pretty damn cool.

So anyway! Seeing as I’m stuck here for now, I should probably introduce myself. I’m Darcy: a severely underpaid intern who just earned her degree. Seriously, I didn’t even have time to celebrate before I turned up here. Looking forward to meeting all my turtle-neighbors, though. I don’t suppose this is some secret part of Asgard, is it? That’s the only other world I’m that familiar with.

Oh, and one more thing. I should probably ask this just in case: is there a Jane Foster or Erik Selvig here? Erik might be a little on the, erm, nutty side at the moment? Happens when you get an alien poking around in your head, I guess.

Depends which universe you're from. Far as I know, there aren't any defining designations, but then this is my first time traveling to another dimension.

[ He doesn't know enough about the other Tony Stark to be able to offer her useful comparisons. All he has is appearance. ]

The Tony you know have blue eyes? The other one does.

If by aliens you mean flying space whales and robot bug-people on flying jetskis, then the answer is yes.

Nope. He's was grounded to Earth. Literally and figuratively. My boss ran him over with our van.

Mmm...not quite. I'm her intern, but I studied political science.

Her being this Jane person, I presume. Unless Selvig's undergone a transformation since being Loki's bitch. No judgment. I hear it's rough. So how'd a student of political science end up working for her?

Aha, no. His brain wasn't smushed in that direction. Mostly just the not-wearing-pants direction.

I ended up with Jane because no one else applied. And I may have procrastinated just a bit on picking out my internship.

Not wearing pants, huh? Now I'm really wondering about Loki.

Is it something you like? The whole physics thing? Because, you know, if you wanted to explore that avenue a little more, I could help you out. Provided we ever get back home.

Mm, I don't know about working with it personally. I liked working with Jane and Erik more than the physics of it.
