(~~A million, of course, meaning the highest she currently knew how to code, which was a solid 60%. Thus, he theoretically could still hack it, should he choose to do so~~)

[It had been more than a week, and Midii was still at a complete loss. So much so, she was finally desperate enough to go to the Network for help. Something that, under most any other circumstance, she would never do. Which spoke volumes about the situation as a whole. And how she felt about it.]

[After more than a full ten seconds of silence wondering how to phrase her problem, before she gave up and just blurted out the first question that came to mind:]

How do you get someone to admit he's being a jerk?

[The answer is kind of mechanical and comes from Frank's wrist instead of his mouth, but he's honestly glad to be able to communicate anymore. He'll take it.]

[It takes her a moment to adjust to the mechanical voice. Even though she had already seen it once prior. Around the same time he started pelting her with snowballs.]

[But once she does, her eyes immediately look back up at him.]

I already did.

[He isn't really sure why he's answering, it's not like he's an expert on the matter. Leo has only recently started not being a full time jerk towards Frank, and the son of the war isn't even sure why.]

What did he say?

I don't think he cared.

He didn't care what I wanted. Or why. He only cared about what he thought was right, and he didn't seem to realize what that meant to me.

I have a friend like that.

[ Except not really. Even when he didn't really like Leo he admitted the guy would do anything for the team.]

Have you asked why he's acting this way?

He says...it's just the way he is.

But he wasn't like that before, was he? What is he doing now, why is he a jerk?

He's calling me by my last name and won't listen when I tell him I don't like it.

Why does he do that? I mean, that does seem a little jerk-ish.

I don't know. If I didn't, I wouldn't be asking for help like this.

Maybe you should talk to someone who knows the guy well andcould tell you if stuff like this is normal for him.

[A shrug] I mean, I could tell you what would make me act like a jerk but not every guy is the same.

What's that?

[He was right about not every guy being the same, and she knew that. But maybe if she had one example coming from one person's personal perspective, it might help to understand what could be going through the mind of another.]

Underestimating me. Treating my girlfriend badly- or any of my friends, really, but especially my Hazel.

[The sentiment was...sweet. Very sweet. The way he referred to her as 'my Hazel'. It brought a faint smile to Midii's lips. Whoever this girl was, she was very lucky.]

He doesn't have a girlfriend. I'm pretty sure. If he does, he's never mentioned one.

And I've never underestimated him in anything. I try not to underestimate anyone. I know better.

Maybe you're not the problem? Maybe someone else has pissed him off and you get to deal with that.

...that's not fair.

[Stating the obvious. Assuming it was true, which she had her doubts. Not enough to completely dismiss the idea, though.]

Being a jerk to a friend isn't fair either way, but yeah. Sometimes people aren't exactly logical, let alone fair. Can you think of something that could have pissed him off?

I'm not even sure we were friends.

[She doesn't use that word lightly, and if anything, the hesitation was more on Damian's end than hers.]

Especially not now.

And no, I can't think of anything. He was fine up until I asked him to keep calling me Midii. I don't really know what he does when I'm not around, so I can't say.

I'd say someone making you this upset has to be at least a friend. It even got you to make a post. [He's just saying.]

What else would he call you if not your name?

He calls me "Une" now. It's my last name.

Where I come from, that's how strangers speak to each other.

And where he comes from? [Because with so many people from so many different worlds in this place, he has to ask.]

He didn't say. He just said that was the way he did things, and he wouldn't change no matter what it meant to me.

Maybe it's not a personal thing then. Maybe it's the way things are where he comes from. I mean, if it makes you uncomfortable he still should stop. But maybe you're not the problem.

...maybe. I don't know.

This is one time I almost wish he wouldn't be so...him. Not when it comes to things like this.
