[Billy looks a mess, his hair is dry, but sticking up everywhere from the wind and rain. The right side a little more than the rest from running his hand through it so often. He might be coming across as worried and he is.]

Has anyone seen Teddy? He went out into the storm to help out but he...he hasn't checked in. He's not back yet and he hasn't...that isn't like him.

[He sighs and runs a hand through his hair, making it stick up even more.]

He's tall, kind of broad shouldered and built, but not too built! He has blond hair and blue eyes and piercings.

[He stops because he's starting to sound really worked up, he takes a deep breath a holds it, rubbing his eyes. He lets out a shaky breath and sniffs trying to rein everything in.]

Sorry. I uh...I hope no one got hurt in the storm.

Heh, you know, dumplings sound pretty good.

[He appreciates it and oh look, suddenly your told it's in Wood.]

'Kay, I'll be there in a couple.

[Flying is the best. It takes longer for the food to cook (at a restaurant, because there are no microwaves in Water, and thus Nita's culinary skills are defeated) than it does for her to zip over to Wood and knock on Billy's door.]

[Billy went to the door and opened it up, seeing Nita he gave her a smile. He'd spent the time trying to calm down and just get himself together enough to see people.]

Hi, thanks for coming over.

No prob, dude. I know how you must be feeling.

[She presents the bamboo-looking container housing the dumplings.]

Sucks doesn't even begin to cover it.

[He takes the container and smiles a little more as he opens it and smells them.

Wow, okay, his mouth was watering now.]

Want something to drink?

That'd be great, yeah.

[She's looking around with interest.]

I've never been in a Wood Sector place before.

[He walks her to their kitchen are and places the container on the counter, going to one of the shelves and grabs two plates and then two glasses.]

They aren't all like this, I guess they're like other places where there's suites close together? We're all family here, so we made our suites into one pretty much.

It's pretty cool, kinda like a kids dream.

[He goes to the fridge and takes out a bottle, pulling out the cork and filling the glasses.]

I don't know what it is, but it tastes fruity.

Avengers Mansion, turtle-style!

[Nita approves, assuming everyone on the team gets along, which is not entirely the case with the New Warriors. She takes an experimental sip of her drink.]

'Sgood, whatever it is.

Actually, yeah. Never thought of it like that.

[They got on. There were silly arguments, usually about chores of the food but nothing too serious. Which was good, that was the last thing he would have wanted.

He takes a mouthful and nods. He brings the plates closer and open the container again, dishing some of the dumplings out onto them.]

These smell great.

Water has all the best restaurants. Good thing, too, 'cause Neptune knows I can't cook.

[She is mostly useless at things that don't involve partying, hitting people, or talking down testosterone-poisoned superheroes from being idiots.]

I'm totally missing my moms cooking. I even looked at close by colleges so I can live at home.

[Billy tries the food and hums, resisting the urge to hop from foot to foot. It was the best thing he'd had since arriving here.]

I miss Betty's cooking. It was the first surface food I ever had that wasn't a cruise ship buffet.

[Someone really should have warned her about tuna casserole.]

[Ouch.]

You used to go on cruise ships? That's pretty cool.

Just the once. I was going back home with Betty from Japan. Woulda been faster if we'd flown.

[She doesn't mean on an airplane. Because that's comfortable for a baseline woman in her 60s, Nita.]

Oh, well it's still cool. I don't think I'd really have the patience for normal travel, not since my powers started.

[Billy doesn't click that she doesn't mean by airplane and when he's done eating a mouthful he looks confused.]

So, why didn't you? Or was it just for the experience or something?

Planes are awful.

[Ew. Aeromarines are much better. And also go exactly where you tell them because they're crewed by Atlanteans.]

Pretty much. It was the first time I'd ever been on the surface, so everything was brand new.

...And I had a crush on one of the crew.

[She was 14, and it displaced the crush she'd had on Namor, so just as well, really.]

Oh yeah, forgot about the surface thing. Yeah, don't blame you then.

[He smiles at that.]

Again, really don't blame you. Don't think I'd do anything different. Especially if the crew member was cute.

He was.

[She chuckles.]

Lost track of him when Betty dragged me off the ship in New York, though.

Man, that really blows.

[She laughs again.]

It was just a silly crush. I was mad at Betty for a week and then I got over it.
