[Billy looks a mess, his hair is dry, but sticking up everywhere from the wind and rain. The right side a little more than the rest from running his hand through it so often. He might be coming across as worried and he is.]

Has anyone seen Teddy? He went out into the storm to help out but he...he hasn't checked in. He's not back yet and he hasn't...that isn't like him.

[He sighs and runs a hand through his hair, making it stick up even more.]

He's tall, kind of broad shouldered and built, but not too built! He has blond hair and blue eyes and piercings.

[He stops because he's starting to sound really worked up, he takes a deep breath a holds it, rubbing his eyes. He lets out a shaky breath and sniffs trying to rein everything in.]

Sorry. I uh...I hope no one got hurt in the storm.

[ She's just dried off when she hears Billy's voice speaking. At first she thinks he's talking with someone else, and then the closer she gets the clearer his words are. By the time Billy starts listing out Teddy's description, Kate realizes it's because Teddy hasn't gotten back yet.

She waits until he finishes and then raps her fingers lightly on a nearby table to alert the boy of her presence. ]

Billy, [ she keeps the hesitation out of her voice; no sense borrowing trouble ] you okay?

[When the screen turned black, there wasn't any need to hold so much back and he covered his mouth and screwed his eyes shut tight. He hadn't been expecting anyone to be there so where he hears the noise and Kate's voice he tenses. There's another sniff and he wipes at his eyes, hoping it was obvious how upset he was. He turns around and sees her standing there, he's about to smile but he has to clench his jaw and shakes his head.]

I don't know. Teddy hasn't...he hasn't shown up yet. Maybe I'm just getting worked up but the storm was pretty bad. He's probably just...

Hey, hey... [ she walks over quickly and sort of sits on her heels ]

Teddy's tough and he's taken a lot more than whatever a storm can throw at him. [ she refuses to think otherwise, it's just a damn hurricane -- what's a little wind and rain, right? ] He'll be okay, Billy. He's probably just taken shelter somewhere.

[ She sounds a lot more confident than she feels, though. ]

I hope so. I mean, I know he's capable of looking after himself and he's not someone that needs protecting but...this place can be awful. I don't want [to lose anyone else. He sighs and hangs his head a little.]

[ Miranda had to stop, and wonder if someone had actually gone missing. Or if there simply was a teenaged boy gushing over the network about their dream boat. The former could be handled by the authorities, and the latter was so far out of her expertise re: teenagers that her free hand already start to ghost back to the glass of wine she poured earlier.

Then she thought of her sister, and concluded that a scared child could still be something-teen. And that sometimes the Designated Adult Voice helped. ]

Do you have anything more than a vague description?

[Billy, being honest, couldn't be bothered to change to broadcasting method. He shook his head slowly.]

I didn't arrive here with my wallet so I don't...

I know he talked over this.

[He could magic a picture, but he's exhausted after the storm and hasn't slept.]

[ Miranda switched to video out of either habit, or courtesy; she couldn't figure which exactly. She had been in want of sleep since the storm started, so they both looked rather overextend. To her credit, it didn't affect her mood and made her irritable, or useless. As bad moods made her. ]

It's alright; we have methods for working with limited resources. Where exactly did you last see him? Was he alone?

Outside our suite, we split up in the storm, I don't know where he headed sector wise but we were all alone. My brother and friend are here but he isn't.

[He props his elbow up on the desk and puts his head in his hands and groans.]

It actually takes a while (and an effort) to reply to this because Brandon has a sinking feeling he already knows why Teddy wouldn't have checked in and I mean... yeah, sure, supervillain in training and all but being a dick to a guy that maybe just lost his boyfriend isn't really high on his priority list.]

[Billy has a sinking feeling, but right now he's just hoping Teddy's been caught up with something or he's around somewhere and safe. Because the thought of Teddy having vanished is awful and terrifying.

He swallows and nods at Brandon's offer.]

Be right over. [He crashed there for a couple hours during the storm itself, so...] Too bad we don't have a telepath, huh?

[He manages a small laugh and nods.]

[Tommy doesn't even watch the whole video. He's alerted to it by Brandon's reply and pretty much just jumps up and gets out of there as fast as he can. He's exhausted from the storm but that still doesn't stop him from running all the way over there.

He's panting and looking a little worse for wear when he gets back to their treehouse, hovering by Billy's door so he could catch his breath before walking in, frowning at him, his cheeks flushed from the run and his eyes with huge black circles under them.]

Did you try a locating spell?

[Billy feels the small breeze that tends to follow Tommy when he's been running. He looks up and over at the door where he sees his brother. His jaw is tensed and almost clenching, but his bottom lip is wibbling just so slightly. He nods.]

Locating and summoning.

[Tommy swallows thickly and gives a groan, running a hand through his hair before he pushes off the doorframe to cross the room to sit next to Billy, frowning.]

And you're sure you can't find him? Like... maybe your magic is on the fritz or something?

[He looks at his hands.]

[ She chews on her lip for a moment, frowning a little. ] You guys are in the Wood Sector, right? I know Tommy's probably already looked, but I can check around too, talk to some people...
