As more than enough time has passed I feel obliged to seek out a means to supply myself in the name of the World Turtle’s cause.
[She just had to make sure to get this computer thing down pat first, and look at her, doing a fine job using the camera…well it’s not as shaky as it was when she first arrived and she’s quite proud of that. More to their credit than hers are the fine tutors she has had in the use of the technology.]
I have been told that one of the essentials of this world is work and seeking it out. Now that I have acquired knowledge about the status of my family and my situation this seems to be the next logical step.
[Even though it is probably out of her typical comfort zone, being the Queen of Asgard she has spent time with her people, the only position she really ever had was that of a wife, mother, and ruler. Now she had to present herself in a way that would make her seem qualified to work…
…and she wasn’t all that sure she had anything valuable to offer, but shrinking away is also not an option. So sitting upright and looking confident she continues.]
First I shall dispense with my titles, one of them at least; I cannot see how being queen of another realm would be functional realistically other than illustrating my organization, mediation, and leadership qualities.
[She could easily say these qualities could be applied to a mother, any mother.]
I also possess strength that is supplied to people of Asgard, fundamental knowledge of and concerning magic, and the capacity to fight if necessary.
These are the qualifications of Frigga--if you can harness these qualities and find a means of putting them to use then I am at your disposal. [If you need references talk to her children and ask them about her work.]

Displaced royalty fund? [She seems just the slightest bit amused by the idea, but she's really not sure how to respond. It's not often she's taken off guard, you do good work Tony Stark.] Your kindness is measured by such generosity, but I am not sure how to accept.
[On the one hand she is determined to work on her own steam...pride and all of that, on the other hand she would feel rude.]

It's easy. I send over the money. You spend it on— [ He waves a hand. ] —whatever you want. And if anything happens and you need something, you give me a call and I'll get it for you.
[ He smiles. ]
See? It's that easy. Easier, actually, because someone's already on the way with it now.
[ A thousand juulan sounds like a nice round number to get her started. ]

Although her response to Tony Stark's munificence is one of befuddlement, she's actually speechless. That's never happened before, she's usually very ready with something elegant or profound to say, but he's already made up his mind.
Steadfastness, it's not something that is unfamiliar to her, however.]
How could I say "no" to such a generous bestowal, even when I owe you so much already. [Her sons are alive and returned home thanks to the help of Thor's friends, and this man being among them, so she naturally feels indebted.] In the same, if there is anything you would require of me, anything at all I could do for you I would be honored.

Well, I’d ask you to have dinner with me, but I’m thinking Thor would take a dim view of me hitting on his mom.
[ To say nothing of Odin and what he might have to say about a mortal having the audacity to make advances on his wife.
Tony gives her another smile, and unlike so many of the smiles he bestows on others, this one’s genuine. ]
How about you just settle in and make yourself comfortable and we’ll call it even?

I should say, that is the most peculiar dining habit I have ever heard of. Although I suspect Volstagg might find battle with dining good sport indeed.
[In spite of her Midgard-speak mishaps, which are all too frequent, she can sense the sincerity of his gift and she will make certain to put it to good use.]
I shall try...and again, I thank you, for everything. [She speaks more of helping Thor and all of his endeavors on Earth.] Tony Stark of Midgard.

You're welcome. It's my pleasure.
