[ You might think a teenage boy from Tokyo in the 2000's would have a pretty firm grasp on how to use a computer. Alas, this one does not. The video clicks on with Ikki midrant, slamming his hand onto the keyboard.

-and I don't wanna hear "Oh no, Ikki-sama, we need you now, save us~" Just cuz I'm the King of the Sky doesn't mean I'm going to go around saving all you commoners. If you want that you're gonna have to pay tributes, and send me all the busty babes you have, got that?

..Anyways, like I said, I'm Minami Ikki, leader of Kogarasumaru, which you would have heard about if you are from Earth. Unless you really do live under a rock, or the South Pole or something.

And a God like me can't be kept in a cage like this, so I'm bound to break out sooner or later. So you hear that Emperor guy? There's no holding me back!

[ Ikki's just gonna pump his fist and yell a bunch until eventually he hits the right key and shuts off the video. ]

No, I'm human. A lot of people here are from all sorts of worlds. Earth is the most common, but it's not the only one.

[ Ikki's eyes practically light up when getting the chance to talk about AT's. ]

Yeah! They are like super strong cars on each feet. Your alien planet has cars right? [ He even spins up the wheels on camera so she can see. ]

Most are just stock parts you can buy in sports stores, but mine are like Gundams to the regular Mobile Suits, you know?

Oh, I've seen a few cars.

But, um. What's a Gundam?

['Mobile Suit' she can guess at, and it reminds her of her father.]

No Gundam in your alien planet either? Man, how do you live?!

Gundams are like... [ He rolls away from the camera for a bit to grab some paper and pen. Then he sketches out something like this. Somehow, he's a really good artist. ]

Regular minions use Mobile Suits, which are big robots with lasers and stuff. The hero gets one called a Gundam that's way stronger and fast than everyone else!

[Her tone is a gentle rebuke.]

Mm. My father built something very similar to those. I think I understand.

He did?! He must be like my Uncle, if he can make big robots like that!

Are there any here? [ He's looking out the window hoping to find a Gundam outside.]

...Gundams are good and all, but no match for AT's.

[She's... not going to contest that, but it's probably best just to not bring attention to it any further.]

None that I've seen. So what all can an AT do? Just fly? 'Everything' is sort of a broad term.

Mm, lot of stuff. [ He claps his hands together, then pulls them apart, which creates a giant gust of wind in his apartment, knocking over furniture, and even blowing the computer away. The camera goes off a for a minute or two while he tries to figure out how to get it back together. ]

..Ah, sorry about that.

They're like tools, some people use 'em for just feeling like flying, and other's use 'em to compete and fight and stuff.

I see. That sounds really interesting. Do you think I could take a look at them sometime?

[ Damn, with a face like that Ikki's almost ready to say yes without thinking. He starts, but stops himself, and rubs his chin. ]

I already kinda have a Tuner, I don't know if she'd be alright with anyone touching them.. [ Having the most unique AT's in the world with parts that the entire world was ready to go to war over...he's not ready to just hand them over to someone he doesn't know too well. ]

Maybe if I knew you a little better.

So what does everyone do here, if no one's trying to get home?

Who said that? Everyone is trying to get home. Well... almost everyone.

I dunno, hard to tell what people are doing I guess.

Well, I've been looking for information on this place, as much as possible. The Emperor has a library, though I've never been into it. You need special permission.

So.. [ He looks around to make sure the coast is clear, then get's real close. ]

Why not just break in?

[Not that she's unfamiliar with the concept of breaking and entering, per se, but...]

Her palace is really well guarded, and the prison is inescapable. It's probably a bad idea all around.

Sometimes you have to fight impossible odds if you really want something.

It... doesn't always work like that, I'm afraid.
