[Maybe he's being overly cautious, but Tim isn't entirely sure if he's still in the Unternet and thus the city is just some trick, and so he chooses to make his first entry on the cities network text only. His decision is further bolstered by the uniform stowed away - the uniform further complicating the location decision. If he wasn't in the Unternet, then logically he shouldn't have that uniform. Still, Tim knows at least how find if he has any allies in this unknown city - virtual world or not.]
Well. That was a pretty rude awakening. I'm not used to waking in the tub surrounded by strangers. I mean, sure the tour of the city was different and the welcome pamphlet is a nice touch. But I'm not a huge fan of waking up in some fantasy movie and being told I'm going to fight some big bad evil. I'm not really the hero type.
Heck, I haven't even had my morning coffee.
Oh! Name's Todd Richards. Don't suppose anyone here has heard of Star City? Or knows where to get that coffee? [That should pique the interest of anyone familiar with his dimension. And the name should alert any close allies...]

If this is a flick then I think everyone is willing to let the credits start rolling by now. Coffee can be found in some cafes around in the city. Or what I assume is the closest thing to coffee they have here. Fantasy turtle you know.
text;
You mean they might not have actual coffee here? This day is getting better and better.

[And things have been feeling a lot better since the Emperor's killer was brought to justice. He's not throwing parties about it, but there's undeniably a weight lifted off many shoulders. ...And he just tosses that mention of Gotham and Metropolis in case this Star City guy knows about it. Terry isn't sure how prevalent the two largest cities are in other universes.]
I suggest you start working to become a tea guy. Locals are better at making it for sure.

[Nice name drop there, it piques his curiosity for sure. And this is a fun game - how many names can they drop before they suss each other out?]
Switch to tea? That's a horrible joke. I work nights and I need my caffeine quick and strong. Tea just doesn't have the same kick.
text;
True that. I mean anywhere is usually better than there but just to give some perspective on this sitch. [A pause, before the next response.] And can't you just caffeinate your tea? I know it isn't the same but you gotta make do right?
[Or is that just not a thing until his time period? "The past sucks" is still Terry's biggest takeaway from being on the turtle so it wouldn't surprise him.]
text;
Honestly, I'm not really a huge fan of the tea flavour either. I guess some kind of caffeine pills would do too, but there's nothing like a bitter cup of coffee.
text;
I don't know about the pills. Might be harder to find than a good cup of pseudo-coffee here. Don't knock the pseudo stuff down too fast, you'll grow to like it if you like bitter things.
text;
I'm pretty sure I'm immune to the pills anyway. I prefer my coffee bitter to loaded with sugar, and it takes a few cups of that to get me buzzing.
