[Maybe he's being overly cautious, but Tim isn't entirely sure if he's still in the Unternet and thus the city is just some trick, and so he chooses to make his first entry on the cities network text only. His decision is further bolstered by the uniform stowed away - the uniform further complicating the location decision. If he wasn't in the Unternet, then logically he shouldn't have that uniform. Still, Tim knows at least how find if he has any allies in this unknown city - virtual world or not.]

Well. That was a pretty rude awakening. I'm not used to waking in the tub surrounded by strangers. I mean, sure the tour of the city was different and the welcome pamphlet is a nice touch. But I'm not a huge fan of waking up in some fantasy movie and being told I'm going to fight some big bad evil. I'm not really the hero type. Heck, I haven't even had my morning coffee. Oh! Name's Todd Richards. Don't suppose anyone here has heard of Star City? Or knows where to get that coffee? [That should pique the interest of anyone familiar with his dimension. And the name should alert any close allies...]

[Gotham, and no questions on Keystone City. This is definitely someone from a similar universe, but that doesn't mean the same universe. Zatanna's world is different, and she's from a completely different time.

Give me a break, I figured someone would make the connections and figure it out. Apparently not yet. And like I told Kon, Alvin is wanted for art theft - I can't just go around giving out that name. It's not good if multiple people matching my description just happen to be capable of breaking out of prison.

[And then he pauses and the laugh is out of his voice because that's a bizarre thing to hear. He was just here? That raises a huge number of questions, but there will be a better time to quiz Bart about that. For now...] This isn't the Unternet, is it? Connections to what? And why are you wanted for art theft? And what are you doing breaking out of prison - and why were you in prison? Someone actually caught you doing the stealing that I don't believe you did anyway?

[The questions are fired out with no pauses between them, to chance for Tim/Todd to answer in between. A few seconds ago, Bart was certain that this was Tim Drake, and he was being secretive and paranoid and tradecraft-y just because he's Tim and that's what he does. Now? Bart's not sure how close their worlds are. Art theft. What's next, counterfeit bills?]

The Unternet isn't the internet no. It's a virtual network used by the criminal underground.

Anyway, look, this connection isn't secure enough. I genuinely need coffee and pizza. And you and Kon need to catch me up to speed with anything I couldn't get off the network. So, where are you?

[Bart will bump up the encryption as best as he knows how, but he does not share how to do said encryption. It's not his creation, number one, and two, he wants to hear about this theft thing first.]

This isn't the Unternet. If it makes you feel better, I had a huge conversation with Damian about how I couldn't tell this from VR. So. I get it.

[Tim, of course, notices the increase in the security of their conversation. Impatient. Of course he is. But he isn't going to complain that Bart has upped the encryption.]
