Does your world have superheroes, and if yes, how so?

[Despite everything, she manages a faint smile of amusement at the thought. Considering the two of them regularly popped over to say 'hi' via window, bugging one another was gradually starting to become a Turtle pasttime.]

And that's kind of a loaded question. How a world has superheroes is kind of like asking how a world has people in it.

Some don't; others call them metahumans, et cetera.

Point of clarification: not all superheroes are metahumans.

My ex-boyfriend... [She falters, if only for a second. Mostly at the ex part; it was still hard to come to terms with at times.] ...was probably one of the best teen superheroes I've ever met. And he's completely human.

[Forget about her own role in everything; this was also her dad Monet was criticizing here. And, actually, her dad was one of the few who could apprehend a villain with ease. And not so much as a scratch on a store window display.]

[Not really. Monet doesn't actually have anything against superheroes on principle. She just finds them annoying.]
