[The audio clicks on and Costigan sounds less than thrilled. He's been busy in the city, outside the bottle, and has very little patience left.]

Catty and Vanessa are both gone. Their suites are cleared out and everything. [A pause.] Anyone else work with them on their rehab program? I can fund and manage it, but I need volunteers to do the.. Counseling? Listening? Fuck if I know.

[Costigan clicks on the video. He looks a little disheveled from the fighting, but he's holding his own fairly well. He looks at the camera.]
There's a kid here, Midii Une. You don't have to talk to her now, but I need to make sure she stays until you do. She's a good kid.
[He runs a hand through his hair. It's not an order, of course. Even though it's a statement, the tone of voice suggests it's a request. Costigan knows better than to make demands.]
And I could still use a better encryption program.

Look, she's a kid who's worried about returning to whatever life she may or may not have back there. [He points off in a miscellaneous direction, as if to indicate her world.] I'm not asking you to keep her forever or to keep her safe. All I'm asking is that you talk to her in the meantime.
[A beat and he straightens defensively.] I don't know how all that bullshit.. magic works. For all I know, I'll be gone tomorrow and it won't fuckin' matter anyway.
