[Peter's not quite in the right place, mentally, to put up a video post. And he definitely isn't sure he should put it up from his own suite. So he's found his way to the nearest cafe, with an oversized hoodie pulled up over his head, and is starting up only an audio feed.]

Never a boring moment around here, is there? One minute we're normal-ish, celebrating Valentine's Day, and the next we're battling evil miasma inside a magic bottle.

Does anyone ever wonder what happened to the idea of rest and relaxation?

...Sorry. About what happened back there. You-- You guys know that that-- That wasn't me. You know that, right...?

Oh, God... [There's a sigh, and then a beat of silence before he continues.] Anyway, just- I'm sorry.

[Ava shrugs. Normality is no excuse in her book. ...Not that she knows that much abot being normal to start.] So normal teenagers are slackers. That matches my experience pretty well.

I actually meant before the miasma came in and ruined my dreams.

[She waves a hand dismissively.] Whatever. Are you alright now?

[There's a beat before he responds.]

Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine.

[She considers that pause for a little while.] Okay. Try to stay alive, Parker.

[He lets out a small chuckle.]

Is Other Me seriously that bad?

Well. Yeah. He's pretty bad.

... Is it weird that I kinda wanna hear stories about it?

Maybe a little. But it wouldn't be the first time.

What can I say? Whatever world you come from, you're a guy who takes a lot of interest in himself.

If I said that I knew a different you, and that you guys were way on opposite ends of the spectrum, wouldn't you be curious, too?

Nah, I'd just be disappointed in her.

Oh. Well, I'm disappointed, but I'm also confused and curious.

Well, I can't answer the why, but I've got plenty of what.

Well, one time you didn't do your science project on time and you stole one from the SHIELD labs and brought into school. And then it ate the school.

... Stealing anything from SHIELD is a phenomenally bad idea. I can proudly say I've never missed school assignments.

Well, both of those things are markedly different.

Wait- Wait. How'd he even get into SHIELD headquarters? Isn't it kind of like, y'know, a mini-fortress with crazy security?

He had a sort of internship there. Despite the slacking, he was still smart.

Which makes the slacking more disappointing.
