I do know what you mean. It can be overwhelming here, at times.

Breathing, even as hard as it is, conscious breathing,seems to help a little.

Can you? I've not known anyone with that ability before. I suppose that would imply you are able to control your breathing better than I suggest then.

That is...terrible. No one should have that right, or take it.

No one stops them. They're like bullies in the schoolyard except that the teachers are afraid of them too.

Then surely someone must band together to do so, at some point in time. Even if it is not right now, eventually. There comes a time, in most places, when the force of everyone who is afraid, can combine to overthrow the worst of things, if those who would fight are brave and smart enough to find a way.

[ River thinks about the Independents and how Mal and Zoe are, and how they continue to carry the war with them everywhere they go. Mal. Means bad, from the Latin. No one would ever call them not brave enough. ]

Sometimes that's not enough.

I suppose not.

At home...it was not enough for us then either. Perhaps it is more wishful thinking on my part that one day it will come about through that sort of a means.
