[A dark-haired kid who seems to be in his late teens appears on screen. He smiles, but it looks a bit forced.]

Hey. Tony Stark. [He gives a small wave.] I just... got here, I guess, and got the rundown on the whole scary death chaos monster situation. And all the giant magic turtle stuff. Sounds like a good time. [He laughs awkwardly, and rubs the back of his neck.] Better than centipede monster void dimensions, at least, [he mutters. This is not the first time he’s been suddenly yanked into a different dimension, evidently.]

Anyway, uh, if anyone needs some tech stuff or heavy lifting done, hit me up. I haven’t had a chance to take a close look at the tech here yet, but I’m sure I’ll figure it out. [He seems to brighten a little at the prospect of new alien technology to play with.

He looks like he’s about to cut the feed, but then he hesitates. There’s a couple seconds of anxious silence, and he fidgets, his cheerful demeanor faltering even more.]
And, um, just out of curiosity... When they send us back home, there’s... There is something to go back to, isn’t there? [He laughs, but it’s nervous, like he’s not sure he wants to know the answer.] Nobody would really give me a straight answer, but... They’re not going to send us back if we’re just about to... Well, you know, get blown up or something. Right? I mean, that would be pretty messed up.

So you already know about other versions of people, wow.

[Last thing she's expecting is for him to understand the situation, especially since she still has issues with being here before and not knowing anything about it.]

Well, uh, yeah. Happy Birthday! Sorry, it's just; I've never seen you be- [She'll find the word, give her a sec.] younger? But points for getting older.

Sure. [She's still taking in that he's not older, but working past that's becoming easier the more he talks. After all, she'd probably be just as confused if everyone was used to seeing an older Korra.]

Well, there is a reason for that. One of the biggest companies in Keeliai is Stark Industries and hires foreigners that have a knack for inventing stuff or that are just really brainy. [A small shrug is all she needs to denote the rest.] Your older you really got around.

[Of course she means in people's circles, but...oops.]

[Korra returns the smile, glad to have an ambitious Stark back already. All of them had been nice to her, and she's happy the trend seems to continue.]

Right now, you might want to talk to Aya and Jack Frost about that. I only referred foreigners to your business since I don't have the tech smarts some foreigners do. [She crosses her arms and leans back in her spinny chair.] Think you can handle it?
alphatar: (You are so on.)

[Determination is something Korra can admire because it's very relatable; that and she wanted to see if Tony would rise up to the small challenge.]

Justin was here for a little bit. Nice guy. [She's actually not sarcastic on that remark.] But only you ran it. I don't think Aya and Jack would have a problem with having you in charge of it. I mean, the building's got your name on it.

[The minimal amount of spinning Korra's been doing comes to a halt at that.]

Well he wasn't some kind of zombie, but he was older and needed a hand since he arrived while we had to do some serious rationing. So I helped him, didn't seem like the psycho type to me.

[She raises her eyebrows, her eyes flat.]

And trust me, I've seen some psychos come through here.

Could be, I never got the chance to ask. [Korra misses the joke entirely, but she's aware there's something going on with that other name.]

But if it makes you feel better, no Obadiah's been here since I've been on the turtle. I don't think there has been anyway. [She puts her feet down and is about to let Tony get back to his first day on Tu Vishan, but she pauses to look at Tony as a thought strikes her.]

Hey. Are you still really good with that repulsor stuff and machines? I have something that only you'd be able to help fix.

[Korra gives a mock scrutinizing look, as if she can simply see whether or not he has the brains for it. but she relents almost immediately and puts her chin on her fist, arm propped up on her spinny chair.]

A starship! [Dramatic pause, because she can't help herself.] A small one. I think the repulsor battery, core- thing is being weird. It's only half powered.

Yeah, Tony was a friend of mine, but-

[Total cat deer in the headlights.]

It's, uh, big enough to hold with both hands- but. I dooo [FTL?!] n't know.I just know it uses something like what Tony has in his chest.

[And then she peers down as if she could see if the node's there. It's going to be completely awkward if that hasn't happened to Tony yet. Or if it even would.]
alphatar: (Oops What Suprised)

[Uh-oh. Korra's mouth shrinks into a small 'oh' at the mention of heart monitor.]

You, do have a, uh-? [She draws a small circle on her chest.] It glows like that, but it's a lot smaller. No idea on how it powers the ship.
alphatar: (His face SERIOUSLY looked like bacon.)

[Korra takes a second to look away and take in that Tony’s alive and well without that life-giving flashlight in his chest.

She looks up after that second and nods.]

Yeah, something different. [Inclining her head, Korra’s mouth moves to one side of her face in an unsure manner.]

Uh, you don’t have to if you don’t want to. It’s not a big deal...

to her.]

Alright! Take your time getting used to the city, I know it's a big change for a lot of people. But I'm at Jin-Hao in Metal when you want to check it out.

Great! I'll keep an eye out for you.

[She's not sure if he's got the same kind of 'metalbending' that the other Tony had, so she a quick barrage of words right before she turns off the feed:] And bring your armor!
