[His arrival had been rough and disorienting, but now that he's had a few days to recover, Zuko decides to introduce himself to the community at large.

The feed starts with a confused looking teenager with a big scar on the side of his face. He's staring for a moment before he speaks.]

Is this thing even working?

[He fiddles with it some more before he decides that yes, it is working.]

Uh, hello. Zuko here. I'm new and uh... I guess you guys already know that.

[He fidgets a little. There's also a look about him like he's definitely uneasy about something.]

So... I guess I will be here for awhile.

[Duh. Why is he so bad at this?]

And you're on the right track, at least. The Network here, and the Welcome Center, are the two best places to go for answers. Though you can also just walk around outside and see for yourself.

I was told to rest for a few days, so I haven't gotten out much.

[Waking up in a place like this could be a little disjarring, sure, but she would have figured a few hours' would be more than enough.]

I guess Korra would be the resident expert on that much.

Good. It sucks having to get used to this place when you're healthy, let alone while you're nursing an injury on top of it.

Let me guess: they don't exactly have giant Turtles where you're from?

[She could relate to that part.]

I've heard of lion turtles but I don't think there are any more.

[That made sense. Worlds were pretty big, after all.]

Even so. It always helps to have something a little familiar in a place like this.

[In other words he really is glad for it. Coming here without knowing anyone would be a lot more difficult.]

I guess. I do owe her for saving me, but... she lied to me too.

Not outright. I was asking where we were and it was only half true.

It's not like it matters if I was ready or not. The Kedan told me right after. I don't get why she couldn't have told me herself.

It can be pretty jarring when you first show up. And you didn't have to get fished out of the ocean.
